Continue ReadingDorilas has high-end traits for the position as been getting some recent buzz. Due to his dominant play on the 7 on-7 scene. He showed solid play at wide receiver and cornerback, putting players on notice of his athleticism and size.
Dorilas is 5’11 150 pounds with a long frame. What separates Dorilas is to move in and out of transitions fluidly at his size in terms of height. And his breaks on the ball show his solid instincts.
Renik clearly needs to get bigger, but his God-given length is something you can’t teach. He does a great job of high-pointing the football while it’s in the air and uses his frame to create space.
It’s the understanding around recruiting circles that Dorilas’s long-term position is at corner. Therefore, we want to see Dorilas grow and hunt to prove his skills against the best of the best.
His current claim to fame is that he gave up 0 catches during the season. However, his team is going against teams with little to no Power 5 or collegiate talent. We must always be aware is when evaluating and scouting player context matter. And what you’re doing and who you doing it against also matter when projecting players.
I will be watching Dorilas closely this season to see how he progresses.
Red Bank has a stud at quarterback in Frankie Williams Frankie Williams 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Red Bank Catholic | 2025 State NJ . He’s 6’1 with a thick frame and can make all the throws. However, while can make all the throws he throws to throw consistency sometimes goes lacking.
This is to be expected from a quarterback who only gets a few pass attempts per game and the offense has a run-heavy approach.
Frankie throws an excellent deep ball and when given consistent opportunities can play in rhythm and on time. In addition, Williams can also play out of structure and create explosive plays down the field.
Frankie has a tendency to miss easy throws and can get erratic at times, but what he offers with his legs is valuable. Here’s hoping Red Bank opens up their offense this year and lets Frankie loose which could make Frankie’s case for the number one quarterback in his class.
Thomas is supposed to be the next great receiver through Tom River North is bringing through the ranks. He has the size, movement skills, and ability to get off-press in one-on-one situations that you normally see from the top guys.
Don’t want to get too far ahead of myself, but once Camryn gets a year of Varsity play under his belt, dare I say he shows signs of a national high-ranked wide receiver.
I was impressed by what I have seen from Lewis on tape. He has high-end traits that need to be developed.
First off he does a great job of creating out of structure. At this stage, this gets him into trouble more than it is to make explosive plays. However, he can throw the ball downfield at an adequate level.
He has a weird release where it looks like every pass is being thrown with velocity. But I like what he can do with his legs and if he cleans up his mechanic and continues to improve he will no doubt be a riser in the rankings.
If you’re looking for a combination of freakish. size and explosiveness Iklnnabon is your guy and has the most potential out of any of these edge rushers.
Ikinnabon burst on the scene for camp season getting some buzz as an athletic freak who had some nice pass-rush moves. At 6’5 230 pounds Ikinnabon is an imposing presence who will look to become the best edge rusher in this class. He also is a standout wrestler with some impressive highlights in that regard.
Darren will have another of maturation under his belt and he’s currently rated as our 29th overall player and 2nd best edge rusher in the class. I’m expecting Ikinnagbon to crack the top ten and be the best edge in the class.
