is a 6’2”, 170-pound athlete, primarily known as a cornerback. He’s the lengthiest cornerback in the state by far, excelling in coverage throughout his high school career at Union. Remarkably, he even had a season where he didn’t give up a single catch.
For his senior year, Renick has moved to Don Bosco, presumably to challenge himself further. He’s a young man who’s made it known to New Jersey pundits that he hasn’t given up a catch in a season and needs to push himself to get better. Playing in the Super Conference for his senior year will undoubtedly present its own set of challenges, given the level of talent, especially at the wide receiver position, that this conference boasts.
I’m anxious to see how Renick performs this year after moving from Union to Don Bosco. I’m also curious about what he will add to Don Bosco’s offense, primarily playing wide receiver, and how this dynamic will play out. Earlier this summer, Renick committed to Rutgers University. We’ll see how playing against stronger competition in his senior year facilitates his development.

made his official commitment to the university of his choosing. In the weeks leading up to his announcement, Stretch also picked up offers from West Virginia, Jax State, Tulane, Liberty, and announced his top five: Rutgers, Tennessee, Penn State, Syracuse, and West Virginia. For Stretch, however, home is where the heart is – the top prospect has committed to Rutgers.

is the most explosive player for Union and one of the most explosive in North Group V. Doing a little bit of everything, last fall we saw the FBS-bound corner make 41 tackles (28 solos), 2 TFL, 2 FF, 1 FR, 2 Int, and 1 pick-six. An offensive threat as well, Dorilas slashed 35/552/5 as a receiver and 19/219/3 on the ground. The first think that pops about Dorilas is his foot speed. Fast, yes, but his ability to reach back and find another speed – making him routinely the fastest player on the field – is simply elite. This speed and explosiveness allows him to take the top off of opposing defenses and never be out-positioned when defending. Running fast is not all he does well either though, as Dorilas is a tremendous run support corner as a force player. We see him make an abundance of solid, technically-sound tackles when playing the flat. Something I do not see much of on film now a days is jamming a receiver at the line; however, Dorilas has shown clips of this on his film and also film of others I have watched. When he presses and jams, two things typically happen: receivers’ either have to redirect their route or they never get off the line. An opportunistic player, we see him attack balls that are not pinned to the ball carriers chest, creating a havoc play. With an abundance of FBS offers at-hand, and more to surely come, the only thing left for Dorilas to do is climb state rankings. I think he can do that if his films includes clips of him facing different types of concepts (i/e: smash, switch, flood) and making electric plays when offenses try to place in him in a bind.

is one of Union’s most reliable players on the field. A soon to be junior WR and DB, Renick is a blur on the field. Always one of the fastest players when he steps on the field, there’s slim chance a wide receiver could outrun him or get by him easily on a deep post or streak. With smooth movement, he is able to stay glued to receivers and give up very little distance. Offensively, he is looking to get some attention as a receiver this fall. He has the ability to very special on both sides of the ball and is looking to impress scouts in 2023.

Renick Doralis may be the fastest defensive back on this list. You will not find many players that can outrun him. He is so quick he could seriously play slot receiver at the next level if he wanted to. I imagine he could also be used as a secret weapon on special teams in the return game as well. The Union product is a lockdown corner in man to man. The QB better be on point when throwing Renick’s direction, because there’s a good chance he’ll regret it. Union and Renick have big things coming this next fall.
