Quarterbacks Who Will Make a Mark This Upcoming Season

Deven Sisler from Don Bosco Prep is poised to impact this upcoming season significantly. Standing at 6'4” and 208 pounds, Deven is one of the more physically imposing quarterbacks in the Super Conference. While he may not replicate the ground game impact of Micah Ford, the current Stanford running back, TJ brings his unique strengths to the table. This season, he has the opportunity to introduce a new dimension to Tom's River North's offense. Historically, the Mariners have been a run-heavy team, relying on their imposing offensive line, which consistently features linemen over 6 feet tall.   With standout blockers like Rutgers commit Jalen Matthews and Stony Brook commit Justin Kaye leading the way, TJ has the protection he needs to expand the offense. His arm strength and mobility will allow Tom's River North to diversify their attack, adding a wrinkle that could make them even more dangerous.   If TJ can effectively blend his passing abilities with the team's powerful running game, Tom's River North will be in prime position to defend their state championship. His arm strength is arguably unmatched in the state, as his tape clearly shows him consistently launching deep balls to his top target, Josh Rodriguez. There's virtually no window Brenden can't hit, whether he's operating from the pocket or on the move. However, for Brenden to truly make his mark this season, he needs to focus on a few key areas. First, he must become more consistent in the pocket, particularly in terms of awareness and presence. Brenden has all the tools to turn heads and secure a spot at the next level. His ability to connect on deep throws, both outside the numbers and over the middle, was his defining trait, making him one of the most exciting quarterbacks to watch.   However, this year will present new challenges for Marco. With the loss of Kenyon Massey and only [player_tooltip player_id='1217869' first='James' last='Dely'] returning as a top target, Marco will need to adjust his game. The focus now will be on becoming a more rhythm-oriented quarterback. Instead of relying solely on the deep ball, Marco needs to demonstrate that he can methodically move the ball downfield, taking advantage of short and intermediate routes.   We've seen what Marco can do when he airs it out, but this season is about proving he can be a complete passer. He's a dynamic, mobile quarterback with the ability to buy time in the pocket and make a wide array of throws. Whether it's pushing the ball downfield or threading the needle in tight windows, Frankie has the tools to be a difference-maker.   Despite his talent, Frankie's journey hasn't been without its challenges. Last year, he was brought along slowly, often leaning heavily on the run game. His season got off to a rocky start with a tough loss to Bergen Catholic, where Red Bank Catholic struggled mightily. However, that experience seemed to fuel his development. As the season progressed, Frankie began playing his best football, culminating in a huge overtime victory against Tom's River North. In that game, he demonstrated his dual-threat capability—switching seamlessly between buying time with his legs and delivering accurate, on-time throws, especially outside the numbers.   This year, Frankie faces the challenge of losing his top target, Emmanuel Ross, a Syracuse commit. Yet, even with that loss, he has enough talent around him to not only excel but also to lead Red Bank Catholic back to the Non-Public B championship game.
