These youngsters were standout performers at college showcases throughout the month of June and reeled in some new scholarship offers this summer. I will most definitely be keeping an eye on these guys this fall as it could be just the start of a very bright future.

OL: Parker Brault Parker Brault 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL Palatine | 2025 State IL , 6’3″ 265, Palatine, 2026
This is a strong interior offensive line prospect that plays with an edge to him. He’s got some pop behind his punch, he keeps his feet churning after initial contact as a run blocker, and looks to give help backside if nothing shows as a pass protector. He picked up his first offer from Toledo a few weeks ago, and I don’t expect it to be his last.
DL: Cameron Brooks Cameron Brooks 6'3" | 235 lbs | DL Homewood Flossmoor | 2025 State IL , 6’3″ 240, Homewood, Flossmoor, 2025
Brooks’ effort as pass rusher is off the charts, he can get skinny through tight double teams and knows when to retrace in his rush lane if he’s too far upfield. He can quickly disengage and stack run blockers, he’s got a strong lower half that allows for him to knock offensive linemen into the backfield & shows an outstanding first step. Kent State, Illinois, and Kansas have all given verbal offers to Mr. Brooks this month.
WR: Terrence Smith Terrence Smith 6'4" | 180 lbs | WR West Aurora | 2025 State IL , 6’4″ 185, West Aurora, 2025
A lengthy outside receiver with natural body control, plenty of build-up speed, and terrific concentration on contested catches. He can adjust to the football on underthrown balls, he accelerates through tackle attempts and has no fear going over the middle of the field. Smith picked up some offers this spring and his momentum has carried over to the summer. He’s also a very talented hooper whose already picked up division one offers for his athletic prowess on the hardwood.
WR: Burke Gautcher Burke Gautcher 6'2" | 200 lbs | WR Sycamore | 2025 State IL , 6’2″ 200, Sycamore, 2025
I wrote about Burke in May and his stock has only continued to rise since then. This kid is a technician as a route runner, he plucks the football out of the air, he can stop on a dime, unlock his hips and work his way back to the quarterback. He has sleek footwork and can make you pay after the catch. He’s picked up two offers this summer on the camp circuit.
