For starters, I got two running backs in Amir Key Amir Key 5'8" | 185 lbs | RB Penn Hills | 2024 State PA and Brandon Jones Brandon Jones 5'6" | 165 lbs | RB Woodland Hills | 2024 State PA that are short in stature but powerful, pound-for-pound rushers. Followed by Hempfield area OL Joe Dolinski and an agile Laurel Highlands DL Billy Barton Billy Barton 6'2" | 280 lbs | DL Laurel Highlands | 2024 State PA . Last but not least is a 2-sport star in Ahmad Harris, a 6’1, 220 lbs LB from Gateway HS.

HAWK’S OPINION:
Key displays a burst and demonstrates a second gear as he leaves defenders behind when accelerating. As a compact built RB, he frequently leaves safeties in run support unable to bring him down. Key showcases balance and patience while carrying the ball. He has above-average lateral quickness and breakaway speed, allowing him to elude defenders effectively. Whether executing interior or exterior runs, Key proves equally proficient. His stop-and-go quickness surpasses the average standard. I can tell schools are shook from his size, but he’s stout with big legs and plays bigger than his measurements. I think he’s a RB you can count on to protect the ball too while fielding a lot of carries. He’s a dangerous WR out of the backfield, but I actually think he’s built enough to be a Darren Sproles-type of back. The funny thing is, I feel the same way about Brandon Jones Brandon Jones 5'6" | 165 lbs | RB Woodland Hills | 2024 State PA , who is next on the list, lol.
HAWK’S OPINION:
Despite his height of only 5’6, Jones carries the ball with strength and a determined attitude. Surprisingly, many of his significant runs occur between the tackles, which is unexpected for a running back of his size right? He embodies the qualities of a tough, compact runner with excellent vision, and toughness. He displays elusiveness when navigating open or confined spaces while setting up his blocks. With his sturdy lower half build (weighing 180 lbs), he proves to be a powerful runner capable of executing both inside and outside runs. He has the potential to deliver game-changing plays, making him a formidable homerun threat. As a resilient and perceptive runner, he demonstrates patience and keen vision. He has the speed and proficiency as a return specialist making him a dangerous threat, with the ability to score touchdowns. Similar to Key I think Jones is also capable of being a Miles Sanders or Darren Sproles type of RB.
Joe Dolinski
Joe Dolinski
HAWK’S OPINION:
Joe is a solid all-around OL with D1 size at 6’4, weighing 295 lbs. He has D1 bloodlines as the son of former FBS starting OG, Joel Dolinski, who was a standout for the UC Bearcats and a former college Head Coach. With all of that being true, it makes sense that Joe would be coached up. He’s physical and finishes plays adequately, serving as an enforcer. He’s solid at reach blocking, sealing, pass protecting, and flat-out driving DL out of the box. He’s mobile enough to fulfill any duties regarding pulling or blocking on the second level. Dolinski is unoffered but was recently seen at FCS Lehigh on an unofficial visit. He’s been receiving attention from FBS all the way down to D3 for his recruitment.
Highlights
HAWK’S OPINION:
Billy’s only been playing D-line for a season, but it’s very hard to tell from watching his film from 2022. The first thing that jumped out at me was his athleticism for being 280 pounds. He fires off the ball very well and shoots the gaps aggressively, allowing him to consistently get TFLs. His mobility and low pad level are especially advantageous when he’s splitting double teams made in his honor. Billy’s hand violence, mixed with his quickness, is a recipe for disaster when he pass rushes from the interior. I think he has the potential to play at the FCS level and still has a couple of months left to reach that goal. At a minimum, PSAC schools better stay ready to offer if Barton doesn’t receive any D1 love soon. He’s been in talks with FBS-D3 programs alike along the recruiting trail.
Ahmad Harris
Ahmad Harris
HAWK’S OPINION:
Harris is a 2-sport standout (football, baseball) that shows a lot of potential as a college prospect. Ahmad is smooth, and exhibits physicality. When he blitzes from the linebacker position, he brings aggression and speed with him. He’s skilled when it comes to tackling in the open field. He’s quick moving laterally in run pursuit with an A1 effort. What really caught my eye on his film is his hip movement when he’s dropping back into zone coverage. It’s smooth, it’s fluid, and it’s impressive. And let’s not forget about his nose for the ball and his football IQ. Harris reads and reacts swiftly to run support. Now, when it comes to defeating blocks, whether it’s in the interior or on the outside, he’s got that covered too. Ahmad’s attributes are built for special teams on the next level. The Gators already have multiple D1 caliber players wth Ahmad Harris also fitting that mold. Presently, Ahmad’s still waiting on that first offer.
