Javin Gordon Javin Gordon 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Stephens County | 2025 State GA – 2025 – RB – 5’9 190 – Stephens County
Gordon is a balanced, elusive runner with plenty of production and experience heading into the latter half of his high school career. Gordon has the ability to pick up running lanes quickly and piece his way through contact to get to the second level. Gordon has fantastic body control. He can make his body skinny to slip through traffic and he can also absorb contact well. He is able to shift gears effortlessly and accelerate to the second and third levels. He can accelerate nicely, but he can also decelerate to open up more running lanes for him to slip through and cause enough hesitation in defenders to separate. Gordon does show that he has natural hands, makes plays outside of the run game, and can stay on the field for every down. Gordon has all the tools to be a productive runner at the next level and has made quite a name for himself as an RB prospect in Georgia.
Tyler Worley – 2026 – DL – 6’2 235 – Kennesaw Mountain
Explosive defensive line prospect with impressive attributes for a younger guy. Worley is clearly gifted as an athlete, showing that he is able to run well in space and get after the ball. When at defensive end, he can set the edge well and keep outside leverage with his speed. Worley has noticeable first-step quickness. He launches with good pad level and shoots his hands with a lot of speed and power. When you marry those things together, he can generate jarring force up front to knock blockers off-balanced. He has the position flexibility to play both inside and out, although his combination of speed and power might translate best to defensive end. He has the suddenness to slip right off blockers, sometimes without even being touched. As he continues to develop and proves he can fight off blocks from the stiffer competition, Worley should see his stock rise. As for now, be aware of his upside.
Shaihi Brown – 2024 – QB – 6’2 182 – Eagles Landing
Super athletic QB prospect with a lot of arm talent. From head to toe, Brown is a smooth operator at the QB position. He has a smooth, in-sync delivery. The ball explodes out of his hand and pierces through the air. Brown has good mechanics in the pocket, standing tall and throwing off a firm base. His arm action is very impressive. He has a long delivery, but he whips the ball out quickly and under control. It is clear that Brown is built for the big play. His deep ball can soar behind the safeties and he shows the ability to keep the ball away from defenders. In regards to the deep ball specifically, it is clear he has a good grasp of that concept and can throw the ball with good timing and precision. Brown is also very gifted as a runner. He can tuck the ball and scamper for extra yards. Once he is in the open field, his athleticism is truly put on display as he can make defenders miss and separate from the rest of the defense. Brown checks the basic boxes when it comes to physical traits. He has good arm strength, runs well, and has passable mechanics at this stage of development. Brown is a high-upside gunslinger that could be a real steal once he ties it all together.
Amare Hughes – 2025 – DL – 6’2 206 – Greater Atlanta Christian
Young and versatile DL prospect that has a nice foundation for development. Has long arms and legs with plenty of room to fill out. He is still growing into his frame athletically, but he can still move around the field quickly and is able to pursue the ball coming out of the backfield. Hughes has decent speed and explosiveness, but he works off blocks with sheer effort. He knows how to fight off the hands of the blocker and can also dip his shoulder to shake himself loose. He does show the ability to diagnose the run well and can get to the football fairly easily. Hughes still has his best football ahead of him, but there are some good things on film that are promising at this point of his career.
Tyranny McGowan – 2024 – DL – 6’0 285 – Columbus
McGowan is one of the more intriguing prospects I have evaluated recently. For starters, he doesn’t necessarily possess the ideal size and length that top-tier programs are searching for. However, he does have noticeable strength and surprisingly eye-opening athletic traits that take his game to another level. McGowan is a physical force on the interior of the defensive line, which is where I believe he projects. His sheer size alone makes it a struggle to move him out of running lanes. However, he also understands how to drop his shoulder, cross the face of blockers, and sit firmly in gaps. It is clear that McGowan has an advanced understanding of the run game. He doesn’t seem to overpursue or miscalculate his attack much. Also, he spends some playing time at a traditional LB spot, which leads me to believe his coaches are more than confident with his ability to dissect the run. McGowan strikes with good pad level and has noticeable acceleration when going to make a play on the ball carrier. McGowan might not check the typical boxes when it comes to physical traits. However, he is a strong prospect with good athleticism and exhibits a good understanding of how to defend the run.
