The All-Ohio Football Showcase I attended at Ironton High School had tremendous talent from all over Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. The Kanawha and Ohio River Valleys were represented very well with these eight athletes. From what I saw at camp and evaluating their hudl, these athletes will have very productive seasons this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='487103' first='Noah' last='Vellaithambi'], 6' 200, Jr. QB Hurricane, WV - Noah has great footwork in the pocket with a very quick release. He can make all the throws and puts his receivers in spots away from defenders to run after the catch. He reads the field very well working through his progressions. Noah is a strong athlete who is difficult to tackle that runs the ball very well. He will run downhill and has nice vision to find running lane. He demonstrated great leadership by working and talking with his playmakers in order to know how they can win versus their defenders. He threw for 30 TD's last season and I can see him having that kind of production again this year for the Redskins. Noah has offers from WV State, Charleston and Miami of Ohio which is just the start for this talented young man.

https://www.hudl.com/profile/15763448/Noah-Vellaithambi/about

Myles Meadors, 5'10 165, Jr. Slot/WR Huntington, WV - This Highlander made plays all evening at camp and competed very well showing me he can be a weapon with even more production than last year for the West Virginia State Champion Huntington High School. Myles demonstrated great speed and receiving skills in one on one's and pass skelly. He is a tough matchup at slot because of his quickness and has a Percy Harvin like skill set when he runs the ball on designed runs, as well as, he makes huge plays in space. He is strong and difficult to tackle one on one. He has great hands and can make the tough catch.

https://www.hudl.com/profile/16282014/myles-meadors

[player_tooltip player_id='410468' first='Cade' last='Wolford'], 5'10 192, Sr. TB Jackson, Ohio- When camp drills started, Cade stood out immediately with his size, speed and quickness. He was one of the most developed athletes at camp. He was very coachable in drills and demonstrated why his highlight film was so impressive. He can make plays at several positions on offense and does an outstanding job in his role on special teams. At tailback, he runs downhill and one defender is rarely going to tackle him. Once he gets to the third level, he his going to give any defensive back a run for his money to the endzone. He is a gifted playmaker who will have tremendous production this season.

He has several DI offers and will be an asset to any program.

https://www.hudl.com/profile/13193565/Cade-Wolford/about

William Tabor (Green), 6'1 290, OL South Point, Ohio - William had a fantastic camp. He won the one on one tug of war linemen competition and was very impressive in pass blocking versus the defensive line at the end of camp. He has great lower body strength and balance in his pass pro sets. Was very coachable in drills and competed every play. I am looking forward to seeing him be a force in the OVC this season.

Kain Stanley, 6'3 222, Jr. TE Wheelersburg, Ohio- Kain is a big framed athlete who was very agile and ran very well for his size. He made several impressive catches in one on ones and is a great target for a QB. His potential is off the charts and I know he will continue to develop in The Pirate Football Program. He has good strength and long arms which will help him make plays this season.

Braeden Booth, 5'10 180, Jr. Safety/LB Spring Valley, WV - Braeden runs well and is a very physical LB from his highlights. He understands how to scrape tight over blockers and stack them in order to make a tackle. His tackling fundamentals are very sound. He made several plays at camp and knows how to drive on the football. I am looking forward to seeing where he will fit into the Timberwolves' Defense this season.

https://www.hudl.com/video/3/16794994/642de93cb023200d3043d6a9

[player_tooltip player_id='1556925' first='Brewer' last='Tomlinson'], 6'3 265, Soph. OL Eastern, Ohio - Brewer was named best Offensive Lineman of the camp. He has great feet moving through drills, as well as when he blocks defenders. He was dominate during pass one on ones and was very excited to compete with the best defensive linemen of the camp. His highlights are extremely impressive because he just keeps blocking until the echo of the whistle. He has a very physical punch and knows how to move his assignment out of the play. He has a ton of pancakes for him only being a Sophomore.

https://www.hudl.com/video/3/18600876/63863bad64ded80228e12893

[player_tooltip player_id='992574' first='Jack' last='Hayden'], 6'1 170 Jr. CB/ATH Fairland, Ohio - Jack demonstrated why he is one of the best athletes for the Dragons at camp. He changes direction very well and uses his keys well when he breaks on a pass. He is an explosive playmaker on offense with great speed. He can play any skill position on Offense or Defense. He was excited to compete with any athlete at camp. I believe he will have tremendous success in the fall.

https://www.hudl.com/video/3/16891161/6455b8522348d00fa4cef122

All of these young men were fun to watch and class acts at camp. I am looking forward to seeing them achieve success along with the other athletes from All-Ohio's Ironton Camp who I will be covering in future articles.
