We have some familiar names and some names that will be talked about in the future, but the bottom line is that all of these outstanding players do their jobs and impact the game with their blocking skills. Run game, pass game it doesn’t matter they get it done! All players below were selected to their respective All District teams and will be players we follow heading into their senior years.
Ryan Hughes
Ryan Hughes
Hughes moves extremely well for his size at 6’6 and 290 lbs. He is physical at the point of attack and finishes plays until the whistle is blown. Hughes gets into defenders chest and drives them back until he gets his pancake, creating much space for the ball carriers. He makes a living on down blocks and getting to the next level, moving everything out of the way. The Baylor commit will be looked to once again to be a dominating force on the line in order to create running lanes and protection for the high powered offense.
Bell is a bulldozer if a player when it comes to his play on the field. He is a mauler with bad intentions in the run game and mirrors very well in the pass game. Bell is quick out of his stance and his lateral quickness can catch defenders off guard. He stays behind his hips and just drives players off of the ball. Bell has good length in his arms and is on a mission to pancake somebody on every play. He has gotten much attention already and will look to up those offers heading into next season.
The Nebraska commit plays fast and physical and does not seem to lose his edge throughout the game. Pyle is very quick of the snap and gets on his blocks in a hurry, leaving little time for the defenders to react before they are on the ground. Pyle gets into a defenders chest and is relentless. He drives and drives until the whistle is blown, showing his strength and dominance. He is definitely the tackle you want to be running behind, as he clears the way for big gains. He can play either tackle position and have an impact on the game. Pyle moves well in space and is a defenders nightmare when pulling or releasing on screens. After watching his tape you can see why he is listed as one of the top linemen in the area.
Samir Camacho
Samir Camacho
Camacho has been on fire in the recruiting world as of lately, picking up many offers in the latest months and is play reflects why. Camacho is an athletic big, moving well in space, especially on pulls and working his way up to the second level. He has a strong base, countering pass rush moves, and knows how to keep a pocket clean with good footwork and hands. Camacho shows that he can clear ways for his ball carriers, moving everything out of the way when he is running through. We will most likely see him gain even more attention throughout the summer as he hits camps but expect his to be even better for his senior year.
Max Wang
Max Wang
Wang puts his power on display in his film, knocking bodies over any time he is given the chance. From his tackle position, Wang works his way to the second level and feasts on linebackers and safeties who try to stop the run. Wang does an excellent job of moving defenders. He gets them out of position and continues to push them out of the play, creating room for his teammates. In the passing game Wang holds his own on an island. He kicks out and dictates the block, moving rushers where he wants them and keeping his quarterback clean. Wang earned First Team All District from his play and will be a player we keep eyes on to see his development.
Frank Moss Jr.
Frank Moss Jr.
Moss is a brick wall of a player. He allows nothing passed him and crushes anything that tries to. At the guard position, Moss usually has a free run to the second level, punishing backers in the way and clearing space for his backs. He is a very powerful player who keeps his legs churning until the defender is on the ground. Moss has a strong punch that usually gets the defender down immediately. He is physical at the point of attack and finishes plays. The Texas Southern commit will draw even more attention heading into his senior year with his tough play.
