This spring the Farmers head into 2024 with several veterans on the offensive line who will help lead the team and they will have several newcomers who will step in and provide playmaking ability at the skill positions. Lead by Coach Michael Odle, Lewisville sets their sights on getting back to the postseason in 2024. We spotlight several Farmers who will be key contributors for Lewisville in 2024.
Williams is stepping in as the starting quarterback for Lewisville with confidence and elite skill. His ability to deliver accurate throws in the short to intermediate zones, combined with his strong arm and great touch on deep passes, makes him a versatile threat on the field. His excellent pocket presence allows him to make smart decisions under pressure, further enhancing his effectiveness as a leader on the field. Seeing him take full control of the Farmer offense during recent spring practices bodes well for the team’s success in the upcoming season. Williams checks off all the boxes and his stock on the recruiting will begin to heat up in 2024. Williams has collected offers from, Arizona State, Colorado State, UNLV and Texas State.
Highlights
Fasusi is one of top offensive linemen in the state of Texas. Michael is a dominant force for the Farmers, his athleticism, great footwork, and fluid movement make him a formidable presence on the offensive line. With his impressive length and clean footwork, he’s able to effectively protect the quarterback and open up running lanes for the offense. Additionally, his experience as a returning starter and his vocal leadership qualities make him invaluable both on and off the field, setting a high standard for his teammates to follow. Fasusi narrowed his list of schools down to 7, Texas, Texas A&M, Oregon, Georgia, USC, Missouri and Oklahoma.
Hutton’s prowess on the offensive line is evident in his formidable stature at 6’3″ and 315 pounds, making him a formidable force on the field. His proficiency at the center position is marked by his exceptional hand placement, allowing him to effectively control defenders and create opportunities for his team. Hutton’s ability to maintain leverage throughout plays gives him an advantage in battles at the line of scrimmage, enabling him to drive opponents back and open up running lanes for his teammates.
Hutton’s tenacity is highlighted by his commitment to finishing blocks with intensity, demonstrating his dedication to every play until the whistle blows. His leadership qualities make him a valuable asset to his team, providing guidance and inspiration to his fellow linemen. With preferred walk-on offers from programs like Texas A&M and Oklahoma, as well as an offer from Sul Ross State, Hutton’s talent is being recognized and he should see his recruiting buzz pick up heading into the 2024 season.

His big body provides a large catching radius, making him a valuable asset in the passing game. His knack for running crisp routes and utilizing his good length allows him to create separation from defenders and make contested catches. Additionally, Bogany’s strong hands ensure that he can secure difficult catches in traffic.
His ability to excel in runs after the catch further adds to his value as a playmaker, as he can turn short receptions into significant gains for the offense. With his skill set and potential, it’s understandable to anticipate a breakout season for Bogany in 2024, as he looks poised to make a significant impact for the team. Colorado State recently came to the table with an offer.
Barber’s combination of size, strong hands, and understanding of how to find openings in the defense makes him a formidable threat at the receiver position. His big frame allows him to be a reliable target in both short-yardage situations and downfield passes. Additionally, his ability to read defenses and find openings demonstrates his football IQ and versatility as a receiver. With his skill set, Barber has the potential to be a consistent playmaker for the Farmers, providing a reliable option for his quarterback. Look for Barber to light it up for the Farmers in 2024.

Weathers has the skill set to be a playmaker at the safety position. His excellent field vision allows him to anticipate plays and react quickly to the action unfolding in front of him. Weathers’ great range enables him to cover a large portion of the field, making him effective in both pass coverage and run support. His clean footwork enhances his ability to change direction smoothly and stay in position to make plays on the ball.
Weathers’ interception during the 11-on-11 period at practice demonstrates his playmaking ability and knack for creating turnovers, which can be game-changing for his team. With offers from Baylor and Colorado State, collegiate programs are getting early looks at the big play potential that Deontae has at the defensive back position.
