Our new junior rankings are days away but before we get there, let's take a look at who the top talent from the Middle Tennessee area appears to be headed into the summer camp season.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='219419' first='George' last='MacIntyre'] - Brentwood Acad.: This Mid-Tennessee product is not only the #1 quarterback in the state for the #TN2025 class but MacIntyre could be the best overall prospect as well. The Eagles rising junior looks the part, throws the ball like a veteran and is a natural athlete that stands out on the basketball court as well. MacIntyre holds just about every national offer, so this signal caller will be in contention as the top overall quarterback not just in Tennessee but the entire country.

https://twitter.com/GregBiggins/status/1662548213663162369?s=20

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='362006' first='Brycen' last='McDonald'] - Lewis Co.: A strong armed passer with good pocket awareness, McDonald is a small town stud that has all the physical abilities and traits to reach the D1 level. One of the top returning statistical passers for the Fall football season, the Panthers junior signal caller had a breakout sophomore campaign that put him squarely on the map for college coaches and I expect McDonald to see his recruitment explode sooner than later.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='219402' first='Tyler' last='Travers'] - Mt. Juliet: Travers is one of the more intriguing QB talents from our #TN2025 class as he sports the size, arm strength and upside to excel on the next level but there is something about his mechanics that I'm watching and still learning about. The Golden Bears rising junior stands 6 '5 with a bit of a side arm throw which he is able to get away with due to his size and arm power. Travers reminds me a bit of Phillip Rivers with of course plenty of work to go but the potential is certainly there.

Other QB's to Know: [player_tooltip player_id='219425' first='Tav' last='Shaffer'], [player_tooltip player_id='480646' first='Jackson' last='Kilburg'] - Lipscomb Acad., [player_tooltip player_id='279487' first='Caleb' last='Sams'] - TBD

------

(RB) [player_tooltip player_id='219449' first='Tamari' last='Hill'] - Oakland: A massive junior season could be in store for this Murfreesboro running back as Hill should be taking over as the lead back under the Patriots run heavy offense and breakout into a national recruit due his athleticism, speed and big play abilities. Hill holds a few P5/D1 offers thus far but will adding many, many more over the coming months as this guy is one of the best overall playmakers from our #TN2025 class.

https://twitter.com/RunningPatsOHS/status/1661908136846938112?s=20

(RB) [player_tooltip player_id='258658' first='Brooklen' last='Davis'] - MBA: Well balanced with burst and a powerful running style, Davis is in line for a big role this coming Fall as the Big Red's main offensive weapon and someone the team can build around as they implement new stars. Davis is well built already, sporting the college look and the game play to breakout into one of the best running back prospects from our in-state #TN2025 class.

(RB) [player_tooltip player_id='301396' first='Andrew' last='Patterson, Jr'] - Lipscomb Acad.: This Mid-Tennessee runner could be the best power back prospect from our in-state junior class and he has yet to take on a major role for the Mustangs, so there is low tread on his tires. Sporting a powerful lower base with good burst, Patterson, Jr is well balanced with more speed than you think and a guy that will continue to get better the more he learns the game and matures.

Other RB's to Know: [player_tooltip player_id='480658' first='Aviery' last='Haynesworth'] - Oakland, [player_tooltip player_id='611895' first='Jakyri' last='McClure'] - Mt. Pleasant, [player_tooltip player_id='219347' first='Jonmikael' last='Crudup'] - Mt. Juliet

--------

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='625142' first='Neo' last='Clifton'] - Brentwood Acad.: Look for this Mid-Tennessee product to breakout into national status by the end of the upcoming Fall football season, especially being the #1 target for the best QB from the in-state 2025 class. Clifton is a big guy at 6'2 180 pounds with the frame to take on more weight and develop into a dangerous wideout that works best on the outside. He holds a few D1 offers currently but those P5's are coming soon!

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='219435' first='Ben' last='Hubbard'] - Ravenwood: As things stand right now, this could be the best slot receiver prospect in the state as Hubbard has elite quickness along with technique sound game play that translates well to the next level. The Raptors wideout is the ultimate worker that consistently works on developing his craft, so I believe his best football is definitely ahead of him.

https://twitter.com/BenHubb8/status/1658118121369083909?s=20

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='390641' first='Aja' last='Jones'] - Marshall Co.: Many may not know too much about Jones but he sports some of the best game breaking athleticism and speed from the wide receiver position in the #TN2025 class. Coming out of Marshall Co., Jones had a breakthrough season last year as a sophomore, becoming the Tigers #1 go-to target and I expect his numbers and role to expand further this coming season.

--------

(TE) [player_tooltip player_id='347785' first='T.J.' last='Briggs Jr.'] - Lipscomb Acad.: Sporting the size and all the physical abilities and traits you want with a pass catching tight end, Briggs, Jr should see an expanded role this Fall with the Mustangs transitioning into a new coaching staff. He has yet to make a splash on the football field but coaches see the potential as Briggs, Jr holds multiple D1 offers at the moment with several others showing interest.

(TE) [player_tooltip player_id='219336' first='Aaron' last='Mattingly'] - Green Hill: Much like the guy above, expect a bigger role this Fall for Mattingly as he steps into the Hawks offense as possibly their go-to target. Standing 6 '6 with all sorts of room for growth, this Mid-Tennessee tight end has a dangerous threat in the red zone along with showing the athleticism and speed to work down field. This guy has tremendous upside but still plenty of development that needs to take place.

--------

(OG) [player_tooltip player_id='219412' first='Chauncey' last='Gooden'] - Lipscomb Acad.: Already considered as one of the top overall prospects for the #TN2025 class, Gooden is a massive young man up front that manhandles his opponents but also shows the mobility to work on the move. The Mustangs offensive guard has powerful hands and once he locks on, that's it for the defender. Gooden is also a good athlete that can get out and pull then drive his man down field.

(OL) [player_tooltip player_id='258663' first='Jon' last='Adair'] - Lipscomb Acad.: Adair is an interesting talent that could play multiple roles across the offensive front with center possibly being his best position. Standing 6'6 270 pounds plus, Adair has nice size to grow and handle the roles of tackle or guard on the next level but his ability to bend, stay balanced while showing clean snaps, may keep him in the middle on the collegiate gridiron. Either way, you have a big, versatile O-lineman here that provides a lot of value.

(OT/G) [player_tooltip player_id='250865' first='Ta'Khyian' last='Whitset'] - Antioch: You haven't had a prospect this good come out of Antioch in some time but Whitset has the size, body frame and natural athletic abilities to grow and develop at tackle inside the college game. Sporting long arms, big hands and mobile feet, Whitset screams potential and upside but is still far from a finished product, however this guy has the tools and traits to grow into a athletic pass blocking tackle over the next few years.

Other OL to Know: [player_tooltip player_id='219438' first='Kyle' last='Larkin'] - Ravenwood, [player_tooltip player_id='466272' first='Noah' last='Hacker'] - Lipscomb Acad., [player_tooltip player_id='323140' first='Brady' last='Smith'] - CPA

--------

(Ath) [player_tooltip player_id='497421' first='Isaiah' last='Groves'] - East Robertson: The Groves train in East Robertson continues with this two-way talent who looks more like a running back right now for the college game but definitely the athleticism to develop at defensive back as well. Sitting with a few D1 offers at the moment, looks for this junior talent to breakthrough into a Mr. Football candidate this coming Fall and establish himself as one of the best running backs from the #TN2025 class.

(Ath) [player_tooltip player_id='258659' first='Sam' last='Willoughby'] - Fayetteville: Tons of athletic potential resides with Willoughby, who is targeted at quarterback but has the skill set to play receiver or defensive back as well. This Mid-Tennessee talent stands 6 '6, throwing the ball from the left side and the arm power to develop further into a college quarterback but much work on his mechanics and body must be done before he fills out his full potential, however the upside is certainly there.

https://twitter.com/SamuelWillough/status/1656815183304564739?s=20
