From little league all the way through high school, the roots of Texas football have become a religion. This state has produced some of the best talent at the college and professional levels for years. For a majority to the premier athletes who have come out of Texas and into the next level, their journey to the top started at the middle school level. Having said that, here are some of the Lone Star State's top athletes who are about to become some of the biggest names in high school football at both a state and national level.

The future Tyler High School prospect currently holds the world-record for the 100M with a verified 10.45, making him the first world-record holder I've covered (to my knowledge). To help put that speed into prospective, the current eighth-grader at Boulter Middle School would have won the Olympic Gold Medal in 10 different Olympic Games since the 100M started being ran in 1896 with his 10.45 speed. When a 2027 prospect makes history like that, it should come as no surprise that McMiller has already picked up his first offer, from the University of Nebraska. The Cornhuskers are clearly going for speed early in this 2027 class, as they've also already offered Noah Merriweather of Georgia who has been clocked at a 4.41 in the forty. McMiller looks to be the complete package as an athlete, already standing 6-foot-1 and 165 pounds, per a recent doctors visit. Watch out world.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["809296"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='809296' first='Joe' last='Jobe'] is talented back coming out of Warren Middle School and will be off to Forney High School come the fall. The 5-foot-10, 155-pound back has been clocked at a 4.7 in the forty and is a one cut-and-go running back who eats up chunks of yards with ease. Doesn't waste a lot of time dancing in the hole, he waits for his blocks and explodes through creases before getting north and south again. I'm amazed at his quick, initial burst when taking the hand off. If he has any breathing room, he is typically five yards up field before the defense even realizes who has the ball. Jobe participates in several track and field events at Warren and the kid brings the winning mojo any great athlete has. Both the Warren Middle School football team and track and field team won District Titles this year.`The Forney Jackrabbits are coming off back-to-back 7-4 seasons and hopefully Jobe and his 2027 classmates can push them over the hump.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["809893"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"I have had [player_tooltip player_id='809893' first='Buck' last='Randall'] on my list of prospects to evaluate for months and am finally getting there todayu002du002dand wow. Everything that has been said about him on social media and by other talent evaluators around the country is spot on. Highland Park has a history of putting out elite football talent, specifically at the quarterback position, and Randall could be next in line here. The Dallas-area quarterback is exciting to watch on the field. Thick-necked that looks like a linebacker at first glance, he plays a style of quarterback that is unlike any other prospect I've seen in this 2027 class. Best comparison I can give is: Brett Favre-gun slinger meets Florida Gators-era Tim Tebow running style. He can beat you with his arm or his legs and his pocket-presence is second to none in this 2027 class. Absolutely love the way he goes on the attack as a quarterback, rather than letting the defense dictate what he does. Love everything about his game. Listed at 5-foot-10, but hope he gets to that 6-foot/6-foot-1 height.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["809943"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Watching his film from this past fall season and then some of his more recent 7on7 work from this spring, there's a lot to be excited about when it comes to Bolden. He's one of those rare prospects that I feel is a quarterback, but calls himself an athlete. 95%+ of the time a prospect is a great athlete, but not a great quarterback and simply ends up at the position because of what he can make happen. With Bolden he's lucky enough to be an athletic kid that also checks the boxes as a quarterback too. He's a good-sized kid at 6-foot and 155 pounds (unverified) with great length. Bolden is scary with the ball in his hands too, as running the QB Keeper was a staple in his offensive bag of tricks this year. At times can put a u003cemu003elittleu003c/emu003e too much air under his throws but was able to get away with it due to big plays by receivers, but this can be fixed with more development and improved arm strength. Also made significant plays on the defensive side of the ball as a linebacker and safety.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["790512"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"A big interior offensive lineman that will be at Duncanville High School this upcoming fall. The 6-foot, 302 pound offensive lineman is a wide body that makes it very difficult for defensive linemen or blitzing linebackers, to penetrate the backfield. For a big man he has much better feet than one would anticipate in a confined area, with a quick initial punch. Has the ability to play tackle if asked to, but think he's much better inside right now due to lack of length in his frame. Escobedo's bread is buttered with his strength. If he gets his hands on a rusher and sit stay low in his stance, I like his chances to win the rep at this point. Haven't had the chance to see much run blocking out of him, but I'm beyond confident in his ability in his pass pro. Has a better kick slide than many high school offensive linemen and does a good job being patient. He sits in his stances and waits, rarely gets over extended. Again, his feet are good, but overall speed and quickness can improve.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-645108330f260"} /-->
