About Cadarius
Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Miller put together a highly efficient and explosive season, finishing with 943 rushing yards on just 108 carries while finding the end zone 17 times on the ground. He showed real consistency as a finisher, turning limited touches into major production and proving he doesn’t need a high volume to impact the game.
As a receiver, he added another layer to his game with 11 catches for 186 yards and 3 receiving touchdowns. That ability out of the backfield makes him dangerous in space, where his vision and quick acceleration allow him to turn short passes into chunk plays.
With 20 total touchdowns on the season, Miller showed he can be a reliable scoring threat in multiple ways—whether it’s between the tackles or flexed out as a pass-catching option. His blend of efficiency, versatility, and explosiveness has already translated into a major recruiting win, as he is committed to the Oregon Ducks football.

consistently shows size, and pad level alongside body control in both phases. His best stretches come when patience is on time, which opens up clean runs snap after snap. The growth point is sharpening up on finishing runs so the highs become the baseline. The improvement shows as the details tighten up. This dude is a BALLER!

McCmiller brings a physical presence every time he steps on the field, playing with the mentality of a true power back. In games, he consistently sets the tone by running through contact and refusing to go down on first hit. He thrives in short-yardage and red-zone situations, lowering his pads and driving defenders backward to extend drives. McCmiller also shows impressive balance, staying upright through traffic and fighting for every inch. When the offense needs toughness, control, and reliability, he’s the one who delivers — a steady, punishing runner who wears down defenses as the game goes on.

McMiller is an absolute specimen of an RB with an incredible combination of size and speed. He totes the rock with a 6’2 frame and 10.5 100m speed. The Lions’ star player runs with physicality, a great burst, and rapid footwork. Cadarius also showcases the veteran traits to run behind his pads and finish runs falling forward. Despite the Lions tough start to the season, McMiller has reminded all of his abilities, compiling over 500 total yards and 12 TDs, including a 150-yard 3 TD game last week. The junior playmaker has offers from schools such as Ole Miss, Florida State, and Tennessee, and he will look to power turning his school’s season around.

Another promising prospect out of the Rose City, McMiller is one of the hottest 2027 RBs on the board heading into the 2025 season. McMiller has home run straight line speed with a 10.44 100m. That track speed translates incredibly into game speed, as once Cadarius breaks a tackle and gets outside, it’s over past the second level. Throughout his sophomore campaign, McMiller also demonstrated great burst through the line of scrimmage and strong contact balance, consistently finishing runs falling forward through tackles. These attributes helped Cadarius accumulate over 600 total yards and 9 touchdowns for the Lions’ offense. With traits still to sharpen up, along with his strengths, the sky is the limit for McMiller heading into 2025. He currently holds offers from 20+ schools, including Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Arkansas.

is a first for me. The future Tyler High School prospect currently holds the world-record for the 100M with a verified 10.45, making him the first world-record holder I’ve covered (to my knowledge). To help put that speed into prospective, the current eighth-grader at Boulter Middle School would have won the Olympic Gold Medal in 10 different Olympic Games since the 100M started being ran in 1896 with his 10.45 speed. When a 2027 prospect makes history like that, it should come as no surprise that McMiller has already picked up his first offer, from the University of Nebraska. The Cornhuskers are clearly going for speed early in this 2027 class, as they’ve also already offered Noah Merriweather of Georgia who has been clocked at a 4.41 in the forty. McMiller looks to be the complete package as an athlete, already standing 6-foot-1 and 165 pounds, per a recent doctors visit. Watch out world.
