<p>There was excitement amongst the fans that attended the intersquad scrimmage. Head Coach Ranier Rackley and staff have generated a "team-oriented" concept amongst the players. I observed the players cheering for fellow teammates to compete. The offensive unit will continue to generate points quickly, which was on display throughout the scrimmage. There were some defensive players who had impressive performances during the scrimmage. The players in the review caught my attention during the scrimmage.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='371947' first='Braden' last='Atkinson'] - QB, 6'1" 185 (No. 4 QB, No. 29 Overall)</strong>. Braden displayed a fluid arm with a quick release on his throws. He displayed good arm strength and good ball velocity on accurate throws to receivers. He displayed patience in the pocket to complete throws on target. The 2025 prospect had an impressive performance throughout the scrimmage. The big and physical offensive line did a good job of protecting Braden throughout the scrimmage.</p>

Gavin was quick out of his stance to make contact with defenders to control them and open lanes fo[player_tooltip player_id='713060' first='r' last='t']he running backs. He displayed good footwork and technique to control defenders. He is the anchor and one of the leaders on the talented offensive line.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='601700' first='De'Von' last='Thomas'] - RB, 5'8" 190 (No. 2 RB, No. 13 Overall)</strong>. De'Von followed his blockers and exploded into openings to gain yardage. He displayed speed to accelerate past defenders in the open field to gain big yardage, scoring often. He displayed good vision and balance while running inside for yardage. The 2025 prospect is a threat to score while in the open field.</p>

Adrian ran good pass routes and separation from defenders to make catches. He displayed good hands to make catches in traffic. The 2025 prospect had an impressive performance to include several highlight film catches in the endzone. </p>

He displayed a good throwing motion with a good release. He remained calm while under pressure in the pocket to complete short and medium range throws. Myles displayed good ball velocity on his throws on target to the receivers.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='832422' first='Davis' last='Brown'] - TE, 6'3" 240 (No. 2 TE, No. 2 Overall)</strong>. Davis ran good routes and separation from defenders to make catches. He used his body to shield defenders to make catches in traffic. He did a good job of blocking on the running plays. The 2026 prospect will continue to develop his skillset and is expected to be a key player in the high-powered offensive unit during the upcoming season.</p>

Russ utilizes his speed and technique, which makes it difficult to contain him. The 2024 prospect is the anchor and leader of the defensive line. </p>

He displayed patience to let the play develop before reacting to make stops. The 2024 prospect is the anchor and one of the leaders of the linebacker group.</p>

He is exceptionally quick, often moving into the backfield unblocked to disrupt the play. The 2025 prospect is one of the leaders of the linebacker group.</p>
