Continue ReadingMcDonald’s name has been littered across the site as we continue to provide exposure to one of the hidden gems in the state of Pennsylvania. You’ll have a hard time getting me to flip my FBS grade on the young man, he checks off too many boxes. UMass and Lehigh have invited him to campus in months past. We at PRZ will do our best to make sure he gets more opportunities this summer. Currently the highest upside of any un-offered junior in the state.

Hoping coaches traveling near Central PA stop in Loyalsock TWP. The program is littered with studs top to bottom, 24 to 26. Yet there’s a wideout that checks off many boxes, one who hasn’t heard back from any collegiate programs yet. That being Jaylen Andrews Jaylen Andrews 6’3″ | 180 lbs | WR Loyalsock Township | 2024 State PA , who stands as the highest ranking un-offer pass-catcher. Production, check. Size, height/weight combination, check. Obviously, there is more to recruiting than these two avenues. yet the young man has put himself in a prime position to receive interest. His time will come.
Legitimate top 10 linebacker prospect in the state. Maybe some are turned off by his size. Thing is, the young man moves well enough that, if you were worried about his size, he could easily transition to a hybrid DB and play in the box. His GPA is over 4.0, the kid is a phenomenal wrestler to boot. There’s a theme to this piece, many of these prospects check off so many boxes that it often leaves people like myself scratching their heads a bit. Calgaro recently visited Mercer down South. I hope more local programs bring this kid to camp.

I’ve been harping on coaches with this name. Anyone who reads my work might roll their eyes at seeing Nymeir Appling Nymeir Appling 6’2″ | 185 lbs | WR Father Judge | 2024 State PA ‘s name on these types of lists. I won’t stop plugging the young man. 6’2, 185. Continued off-season work as a two-way prospect. Might be becoming a special DB/safety prospect. Coaches usually drool over height and athleticism at DB. Throw in natural hands and a willingness to tackle and you have yourself a D1 prospect. His play at Summer camps should open some eyes.

I hit on some new and fresh TEs to hit the scene, those being Zack Zandier Zack Zandier 6’5″ | 230 lbs | TE Exeter | 2024 State PA and Ryan Campbell Ryan Campbell 6’3″ | 230 lbs | TE Downingtown West | 2024 State PA to name a few. North Star’s Ethan Eller Ethan Eller 6’4″ | 225 lbs | TE North Star | 2024 State PA sits in that same tier of prominent tight ends whose recruitments should heat up sooner rather than later. A true 6’4, 225 pounds, real EDGE reps under his belt to boot. Eller fits the mold D1 mold. The top 100 ranking means I firmly believe he can reach the FCS floor I’ve given him. He might have to earn the looks he deserves at camps, many other prospects will find themselves in the same boat.

How this young man doesn’t have some form of offer under his belt is beyond me. Maybe the measurables don’t line up. Maybe his grades don’t check out. There has to be a real reason. IOL reps, either guard capable prospect who can play center if need be. Self-reported 6’4, 275. Heavy limbs and a punishing finisher. Looks to play with attitude. Tape looks to have him as a foundation piece to collegiate OL units, at the very least in the interior. Would love to know if he plays basketball or has a history in wrestling. An aware IOL who needs more attention.
One of my favorite prospects. Colleges might not know where to place him, the notion makes sense. I get the weariness of it all, is he a future back? Is Shyne Roberts Shyne Roberts 6’1″ | 210 lbs | LB Upper Dublin | 2024 State PA a true linebacker? Middle or OLB? Do his measurables check out? Roberts overturns some leaves, his production and versatility as a football player are undeniable at this point, performing well at two very different programs. How he tests under the lights will solve and answer many questions coaches have. He’s the definition of a kid you want to see work for yourself.
