Harris is an exceptional pass catcher and one of the best underclassmen in the state, regardless of position. He can win inside and out. The 6’6 tight end is a mismatch nightmare for defenses to try and contain. Harris can easily high-point passes to moss smaller defensive backs. His impressive wingspan and verticals make him one of the state’s best at bringing in 50/50 balls. Harris’ long strides allow him to separate from defensive backs at each field level. His large catch radius makes him a quarterback’s best friend, as Harris can bring in overthrown passes that most quarterbacks wouldn’t be able to.

Niu does an excellent job tracking and adjusting to the ball. His concentration is exceptional, as is his ability to make miraculous grabs. Niu has great hands he uses to hold onto balls even while he’s being interfered with. He can also make a one-handed grab look easy. Niu always seems to get one foot down while making impressive sideline grabs. In addition to his potent ability to bring in receptions, Niu is also dangerous after the catch. He’s shifty in the open field and can slip out of tackles frequently. Niu should be one of the state’s best tight ends in the near future.

Moeai is a dynamic athlete who feats over the middle of the field. He does a great job working back to quarterbacks on broken plays. Moeai is fearless over the middle of the field and can bring in tough catches as linebackers lay a big hit on him. He is more than just a pass-catching tight end, though, and also enjoys the physicality of the potion. Moeai is a potent blocker who does a good job kicking out defensive ends to widen holes. He also excels at working up to the second level with his teammates, where he can come off and take linebackers out of plays.

Being an elite tight end means you can be both a potent pass catcher and a stout blocker. Kalatoni Naufahu showed the potential to do both at a high level in the near future as just a freshman in 2022. He clearly doesn’t skip workouts based on his ability to drive defensive linemen off the ball. Kalatoni Naufahu also has the athleticism to block linebackers and not let them slip past him. As a pass catcher, he’s a savvy route runner who can slip behind defenses. In addition, he’s tough to take down after the catch and can barrel over defenders in the open field.
