(Mount Healthy) 5’11 200- Cotton lines up on the edge for the Owls. You’ll see him both with his hand in the dirt and standing up. The first thing that pops in his film is his strength. He plays with great leverage and most of the time when he engages at the point of attack, you see the blocker go backwards. He does a great job of keeping his eyes up and using his hands and strength to shed blockers. He had 12 tfls and 2 sacks as a sophomore. The next progression in his game will be adding more pass rush technique. He has the athleticism to accomplish this. With some solid pass rush moves added to his plus strength, he will be a hard player for opposing offenses to deal with. I’m very interested to see how Cotton continues in both his skill and growth development.

(Saint X) 6’5 235- Sulfsted is a big man that flashes his athleticism on both the basketball court and the football field. At 6’5 235 Gordy definitely passes the eye test. He has the desired length and athleticism to play defensive end at a high level. On the basketball court he has the footwork to make plays around the rim and the strength to finish. On the football field he uses his excellent reach to hold blockers at bay and then shed to make plays. He has good enough speed to get to the edge as needed. I’d project Gordy as a strong side defensive end at this point. Pitt has noticed the traits of Sulfsted and recently offered the 2025 defensive lineman. This fall I look for Gordy to use those plus traits and break out against the high level of competition the Bombers have on their schedule.

(Aiken) 5’10 160- Ahmeen plays both wide receiver and defensive back for the Purple and White of Aiken High School. He has a smooth backpedal, loose hips, and speed to turn and run as a defensive back. Garnett flashes good hands that he uses to reroute receivers. He’s not afraid to take on blockers and make plays in the run game. There’s not a lot of film on him as a receiver, but you see a few plays where he shows the ability to stretch the field vertically and take the top off. As he continues to grow and get stronger, I think he has a chance to turn into a very good high school football player who has the potential to be a scholarship player at the next level.

(Franklin) 6’3 200- Lincoln is a player who’s new to a receiving position as he’s played most his life with his hand in the dirt. Watching his film, however, you’d never know that. Clark runs really well for a big skill player. He can get vertical, but he can also break routes off. Lincoln has good hands that he uses to catch the ball away from body. He has the athleticism and body control to make the tougher catches. In the run game you see some of that blocking and physical background as he dominates defenders taking them to the ground frequently. As Lincoln continues to grow and develop, I really like him as a hybrid tight end at the next level. He’ll be a three down player who will be able to be counted to make plays in both the pass game as a receiver and in the run game as a blocker. I definitely think he has D1 potential.

Withrow | 2025
OH
(Withrow) 6’0 145- Withrow has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to skill talent. One of those pieces is Bonner. Being a sophomore with all of the talent that Withrow had, Kristian didn’t get as many opportunities to touch the ball that he would have in other offenses. The traits, however, are there with Bonner. It would seem with another year of experience under his belt, a good skillset, and more hard work, that Bonner’s opportunities should grow significantly. He has solid straight-line speed but has the elusiveness to make guys miss. He understands zone coverage and is able to find and sit down in pockets to present an open target. He was used as a playmaker by getting him the ball both on bubble screens and on reverses in the run game. He’s a willing and capable blocker as well. As Bonner continues to fill out and get stronger, I’m really excited to see how Kristian develops and where his career takes him!
