This group of 2025 receivers has a chance to be some of the best offensive players in Nevada, as they are all slated to be big contributors in 2023. Below, I detail why these five receivers are some of the most talented offensive recruits in Nevada’s 2025 class.
Dominic Oliver Dominic Oliver 6’1″ | 165 lbs | WR Legacy | 2025 State NV received a scholarship offer from Colorado State University last month. He has also visited USC and UCLA. With one Mountain West offer, I am surprised Dominic has not received more regional attention; Watch for the good-sized receiver’s recruitment to heat up before 2024 gets here.
Dominic’s length shows extending at the catchpoint, but good athleticism allows him to contort his body and adjust to make the difficult catches. Lateral quickness shows shaking defenders in space after completing bubble screens. Dominic’s size, contested catch ability, and a good vertical jump make him an ideal red zone mismatch at the next level.

Brandon Gaea Brandon Gaea 6’1″ | 185 lbs | WR Bishop Gorman | 2025 State NV may be the fastest rising prospect on Bishop Gorman’s offense. Brandon received his first offer to the University of Hawaii earlier this month. He also has visited UCLA this spring. Don’t be surprised when Brandon’s recruitment starts to rival some of his fellow Bishop Gorman receivers.
Brandon’s explosiveness shows accelerating off the line of scrimmage, while next level top speed shows creating vertical separation versus off man coverage. Good quickness allows him to create after the catch in small spaces and highlights Brandon’s run after catch ability at the next level. Brandon’s strength allows him to run through contact at the top of routes; Good size, strength, and separation ability operating out of the slot give Brandon a big opportunity to boost his stock with more targets in 2023.

Trey Glasper Trey Glasper 6’1″ | 160 lbs | ATH Green Valley | 2025 State NV is a rising prospect out of Green Valley High School. Trey visited the University of Arizona in March. I am surprised the talented receiver has not gotten more regional attention; Expect that to change before Trey’s junior season is over.
Coaches will be sure to notice Trey’s quick feet and fluid change of direction when playing press man coverage as a defender. Trey’s burst shows exploding off the line as a receiver, while next level quickness allow him to shake defenders with a hesitation move in the open field. Good adjustment ability, tracking ability, and Trey’s understanding of scramble rules will make him any quarterback’s go to guy at the next level.
Derek Meadows Derek Meadows 6’6″ | 195 lbs | WR Bishop Gorman | 2025 State NV is another great sized skill guy out of Bishop Gorman. Derek holds offers from BYU, UNLV, Colorado State, Nevada, Washington, Utah, and Hawaii. He recently visited UCLA, so expect more west coast schools to offer Derek before his senior year is over.
Derek’s next level quickness and fast feet show separating at the top of routes. Good athleticism shows adjusting at the catchpoint, but Derek’s tracking ability gets displayed easily finding the ball in the air. Coaches see Derek’s strength blocking DB’s and physicality playing defensive end and visualize an ideal receiver who is tough enough to catch contested balls in traffic.
