Evaluating talent, you're going to miss. Traveling limited, players develop. Real evaluators learn from said misses and do all they can to avoid those mistakes moving forward. I wanted to dive into a few prospects who have not only surpassed my expectations, some of which who have proved me flat out wrong. A D1 grade for most of my senior classes range from 1-250. As you can tell below, many prospects below place outside of the top 250, and many, like [player_tooltip player_id='377365' first='Tyree' last='Alualu'] and [player_tooltip player_id='557859' first='Sam' last='Cooper'], are still to high on our ranks in regard to the level of attention they are seeing from national recruits.

https://twitter.com/BradenLaux14/status/1606448027908153344?s=20

https://twitter.com/TyreeAlux2/status/1648342562564866048?s=20

https://twitter.com/clintonrob3/status/1647347993882812417?s=20

https://twitter.com/HunterSvoboda55/status/1650234750534135810?s=20

https://twitter.com/amirhaskett1/status/1652126555798138882?s=20

https://twitter.com/Sammycoop1230/status/1649127855442239489?s=20

<!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["255954"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Another embarrassing ranking. I should know better, [player_tooltip player_id='255954' first='Nick' last='McGlynn'] has picked up six FCS offers in the span of 8 weeks, adding two military academy offers out of Army and Navy. I am sometimes too weary of placing every St. Joseph's Prep prospect ahead of others, simply because of the umbrella of development kids fall under when attending the school. That's no excuse for having [player_tooltip player_id='255954' first='Nick' last='McGlynn'] outside the top 150, let alone 300. He checks off so many boxes, the linebackers before and around him might have thrown off my personal grade despite the young man's production around big names like [player_tooltip player_id='27736' first='Josiah' last='Trotter'].
