It’s rare to dominate on one side of the ball, but here we have players that are dominating on both. So to wrap this series, here are five of the top athletes in the 2025 class.
Hailing from the The Hun School, we have one of the best athletes coming out of New Jersey in 2025. An all around force and phenom, Kamar Archie Kamar Archie 6’1″ | 215 lbs | RB The Hun School | 2025 State NJ is a player you want to keep your eye on these next two seasons. Kamar was originally on my linebacker’s Rising Stars list, but after rewatching him carrying the ball at running back I knew had to save him for this list. Standing a 6’1″, Kamar is a man amongst boys when running the ball. Arm tackles aren’t going to cut it when going up against him. He will run right through them without flinching. For being a bigger back, I was very surprised with how fast he could get move. After maneuvering through a scrum, Kamar will appear and dash to the end zone.
It is scary that teams have to play against Kamar on both sides of the both. He is not only a punishing runner, but a linebacker that can deliver some massive hits as well. It’s hard to believe Kamar was only a sophomore in 2022.
The top ranked athlete coming out of NJ in 2025, Cameron Miller Cameron Miller 5’11” | 195 lbs | WR Winslow | 2025 State NJ is the type of player you will hear announcers mention over and over again throughout a game. Playing for Winslow, Cam was a deep ball threat as a wide receiver, and a shut down corner on defense. Cam was a jump ball specialist in 2022. When in the corner of the end zone, you could tell his QB fully trusted Cam and his ability to come down with the ball. When in these situations, Cam knew exactly where his body was in space, able to get a toe down before going out of bounds. Lastly, Cam has the potential to make defenders look silly on screens. Just get the ball in his hands and let him do the rest.
The tallest guy on this list at 6’4″ is Emmanuel Doku Emmanuel Doku 6’5″ | 185 lbs | ATH Holy Cross Prep Academy | 2025 State NJ . As a receiver for Holy Cross Prep, Emmanuel had a pair of reliable hands. He didn’t have a ton of film available in 2022 as a receiver, but being such a target, I have a feeling it will be very hard for teams to cover him in the fall.
As a defender, Emmanuel dominated as a do it all safety. Using his receiving skills to bring in 3 interceptions and break up 10 passes, he was able to completely change the momentum of games with his play. Emmanuel reminded me a lot of Kyle Hamilton, being a taller safety with the ability to roam the entire field and come down with the ball.
Highlights
Here is a true athlete. While Jordan Jenkins Jordan Jenkins 6’0″ | ATH Immaculate Conception | 2024 NC mostly played QB and LB in 2022 for Immaculate Conception, he really could play RB and WR as well. Jordan is one of the players I’m really looking forward to watching in 2023. As a duel threat quarterback, he is scary to go up against. It’s near impossible to contain him in the pocket, and when he takes off to run he can stop on a dime and evade the best of tacklers. I really think there are no limits to what he can do. Jordan is an electric player on the field, and he will gain a lot more recognition this fall.
Roneil Romain Roneil Romain 6'0" | 180 lbs | LB Irvington | 2025 NJ

Our last athlete on the list is another great player from Union. Roneil Romain Roneil Romain 6’0″ | 180 lbs | LB Irvington | 2025 NJ , the 6’0″ edge/outside linebacker only got the chance to play 5 games in 2022. However, in that film you get a good glimpse of what Roneil is capable of. While lining up on the edge, Roneil was extremely quick off of the line and pursued the ball carrier relentlessly. He is able to shake blockers off with ease, and wraps the running back up immediately after. Roneil is at the same school and same class as Renick Dorilas Renick Dorilas 5’11” | 150 lbs | DB Don Bosco | 2025 State NJ , so I think offenses will have a tough time putting up points against Union these next two years.
