This is my second showcase covering and listed below are a number of standout running backs that will be attending. If you have not gotten yourself familiar with these names you better start to:
Really like the way Scruggs hits the hole and I expect him to have a major impact for North Penn this fall. Scruggs is a shift back with great vision who will be a weapon at multiple positions for the Knights. This kid’s game is ascending and he is starting to attract the attention of numerous FCS and FBS level schools across the East coast. Should be fun to watch him in person next week, I expect him to put on a show.

Highlights
Wimberly was one of my MVPS from the showcase last January and I would expect him to be a heavy favorite to be named MVP again at our showcase next week. One of the top ranked players overall for the class of 2026, this young man has already been clocked at under a 4.4 40. He was one of the fastest kids in the entire event this past winter regardless of ages, this kid competes. Look what did as a freshman in his highlights below, cant wait to see what he does next week!

Highlights
A physical north/south running back who you do not want to tackle in the open field is how I would best describe Tucker Teats Tucker Teats 5’10” | 185 lbs | RB Selinsgrove | 2024 State PA . Selinsgrove rising junior can really go, averaging over 6 yards per carry last season. He also totaled over 1,000 yards rushing and that with missing a few games due to injury. This multi sport athlete for the Seals is also a star in the classroom boasting a 3.9 GPA. Whether its football, wrestling or baseball, this young man will make his presence known at the next level. Should be interesting to see him in action at our event!

Carter has a great opportunity to play at the next level and him attending our showcase is another step in the right direction. This kid can motor for the Crusaders as he amassed over 1,500 rushing yards in 2022. Totaling over 10 combined touchdowns last year, Carter has attracted the attention of Waynesburg State, as they are trying to keep his talents in Pennsylvania. More interest/offers are coming for this outstanding student of the game, will be fun to watch him compete next Saturday.

The Rebels have a two position start in Daly, the rising Junior has received all-conference selections for both Running back and linebacker. He has shined on both sides of the football for Seton Lasalle out in Pittsburgh, will be interesting to see how he tests next week. The kid is a competitor and is all over the field at his middle linebacker spot, which may be his best bet at the next level. Regardless of what side of the football he lines up on, wherever he ends up, just know you are getting a playmaker.
