A few times a year, Prep Redzone hosts several showcases across the country in hopes of providing exposure to a wide range of prospects regardless of their caliber. As is tradition, our team of scouts are working extra hard during these events to hand out some of our top performer awards. Now that registration is complete, it's time to pull some top-performer candidates out of out PT23 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1187000' first='Gerritt' last='Kemp'] - WR - 2025 - Hebron Christian

Kemp is an impressive receiver prospect with unrevealed upside. He is a big receiver prospect at 6'3 170 and offers some good speed and athleticism for a larger receiver. He is steadily creeping his way to becoming a contributor on Friday's and rumblings from this spring lead me to believe he could turn some heads this fall. With an opportunity to compete against some good competition at our Prospect Tour, we could see Kemp start to make a name for himself on the recruiting scene.

[player_tooltip player_id='1612992' first='Brooks' last='Goodman'] - QB - 2025 - Blessed Trinity

After a solid sophomore season for Blessed Trinity, Goodman made a name for himself as one of the more productive 2025 QBs in the state. He flashed some athleticism, toughness, and good touch on his film. Goodman showcased a willingness to compete last season, which should translate to this weekend. Goodman should test pretty well and compete, which means he could emerge as one of the more well-rounded prospects during our showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='804402' first='Kendrick' last='McWilliams Jr'] - WR/TE - 2024 - GAC

McWilliams is one of the more intriguing prospects in attendance for our showcase. His tape shows him lined up at a lot at HB and TE where he is really sturdy and disciplined as a blocker. This fall, I believe he will have some more opportunities to catch the football. For a bigger, blocking-style TE, McWilliams can move well in space. I am interested to see how he competes against some faster receivers. If he can make some plays, another element of his game will be revealed.

[player_tooltip player_id='276005' first='CJ' last='Franklin'] - QB - 2025 - Archer

Franklin camped out as a freshman for us a few years ago and showed the foundations of a good QB prospect. Now, he has really improved physically, waited his turn, and could be a breakout QB prospect in the state this fall. His arm strength has really improved and he looks extremely explosive. If Franklin comes into the showcase and flashes that arm, he could really turn some heads.

[player_tooltip player_id='401527' first='Kadin' last='Fossung'] - EDGE - 2026 - Gainesville

With a few offers under his belt, Fossung is one of the more established prospects at our event. He has good length and bend around the edge as well as major upside. He played a role as a freshman last season and I expect his role to grow even more in his second season at Gainesville. When looking at the big bodies we have at our camp, there are some really intriguing matchups for Fossung.

[player_tooltip player_id='514070' first='Hunter' last='Green'] - ATH - 2025 - West Forsyth

Earlier this year, Green performed at our camp as a WR and walked away with one of our MVPs of the showcase. Now, he is listed as participating in our DL group. Green has impressive size and moves very well for a big man. When watching him play WR, it is clear that he has outstanding body control and is not afraid to get physical. Those two traits along with his speed make him an intriguing prospect in our DL group.

[player_tooltip player_id='1080797' first='Julius' last='Columbus'] - DL - 2025 - Gainesville

Columbus is a big bruising nose tackle for Gainesville that played a critical role last season for the Red Elephants. With the pads on, he can be a complete game-changer and cause some major disruption upfront with his strength alone. In a camp setting, I am interested to see if he can use his heavy hands and showcase some finesse when matching up against the OL.

[player_tooltip player_id='1080784' first='Alex' last='Payne'] - OL - 2025 - Gainesville

Payne started this week off by receiving an offer from Liberty and could end it by winning one of our top performer awards at our showcase. Payne has an impressive 6'6 265 pound frame and has noticeable upside. Payne moves well and is starting to fill out his frame. As I said, the OL/DL group in attendance is very impressive, which gives Payne a shot to validate some hype.
