Continue ReadingThe class of 2025’s top-ranked lineman has picked up offers out of Maryland and James Madison since we last checked in on him. Roman Catholic has traveled across the country visiting several programs, ensuring their prospects get as many looks as possible. Kahlil Stewart Kahlil Stewart 6’4″ | 280 lbs | OL St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA leads the charge in the state in terms of recruiting heat, as expected. Projecting toward the future, I don’t see any linemen surmounting Stewarts’ place atop the list. Hope to see Stewart at the end of the month.
The second-ranked lineman out of LaSalle College HS, it’s been a couple of months since we’ve checked in on Michael Carroll Michael Carroll 6’6″ | 290 lbs | OL Central Bucks East | 2025 State PA . Since his placement behind Roman Catholic rival Kahlil Williams Kahlil Williams 6’1″ | 240 lbs | DL Souderton | 2024 State PA , you might not find a hotter OL in PA in terms of overall interests. Visits galore, Carroll, and family have been quite busy as they tour local campuses. Visits to BC and Maryland, as well as an upcoming visit with Rutgers on the 22nd of the month. Carroll has been gauging interest, yet some programs are still withholding offer calls. Hardly a time to worry, we still stand firm on our rank of the young man. Expecting to see him on the 30th or 11th of May.
Happy to see Cole Euker Cole Euker 6’3″ | 280 lbs | OL Perkiomen Valley | 2025 State PA make his rounds this offseason. Offers will come when these programs interested see him perform up close and personal. I’ve had the benefit of already doing so, which is why I believe he’s one of the better linemen PA has to offer as a whole, let alone amongst his classmates. A trip to Happy Valley seemed to have gone well. Euker has kept relationships going with Villanova and Rutgers to boot. There’s a clear in-state emphasis early on. The Perkiomen Valley linemen will stay high on our ranks as we expect him to be a household name in the state.
Not as busy a three months for Sam Brackney Sam Brackney 6’2″ | 270 lbs | OL Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2025 State PA , I can assure you that no one else was working on pass sets in Rome! Brackney was! That’s something you don’t see every day. The young man hasn’t stopped working from what I hear, whether or not he’s traveling and/or taking visits. Brackney is looked at as one of the premier linemen pieces in the state. To keep that recognition, hard work is going to have to be the standard. Those in place at PCC will drill that into existing and incoming talent. Excited to see one of the better interior linemen at collegiate camps this summer.
We stay on the western side of the state, with Jack Yatchenko Jack Yatchenko 6’3″ | 290 lbs | OL North Allegheny | 2025 State PA rounding out the top five. Love the weight he’s throwing around on Twitter. Squatting 450+ easily, maxing out on the bench at 400+, the young man is going to push kids around this Fall. For now, Yatchenko is accumulating FCS camp visits, along with a Boston College suit-up at Spring Practice. BC is heavily invested in many linemen on this list. Yatchenko is also dominating shotput and discus events recently. Talk about a worker.
There might be just one single prospect in this class that I believe has a legitimate shot at surmounting Kahlil Williams Kahlil Williams 6’1″ | 240 lbs | DL Souderton | 2024 State PA as the class’s top lineman. That being Joshua Williams Joshua Williams 6’5″ | 300 lbs | OL The Haverford School | 2025 State PA out of the Haverford School, just outside of Philadelphia. Anyone who has talked to me about this young man knows how enamored I am with his game. His athleticism at his height and weight should have colleges lining up outside of his door. Williams is relatively quiet on socials, which is okay. He was also a bit late on releasing his full tape, again, not a huge deal. I’d call him offseason relatively quiet solely from my outside perspective. That being said, there’s no doubting this young man is working on his craft. We all remember his 13-second 100M dash, I know he has more wow moments left to show off. I’ll continue screaming this kid’s name from the mountaintops.

Might be the more physically-gifted prospect on this list. 6’6, 290 that can move.like the wind. I’d argue Aris Drake Aris Drake 6’6″ | 285 lbs | OL Twin Valley | 2025 State PA is another name that can jump from eight to top five in a heartbeat. Aris Drake Aris Drake 6’6″ | 285 lbs | OL Twin Valley | 2025 State PA is also a bit quiet on socials, my attempts to contact Twin Valley have come to no avail. Would love to see Aris Drake Aris Drake 6’6″ | 285 lbs | OL Twin Valley | 2025 State PA at a camp this offseason to see if he’s improved any aspect of his game compared to his Fall tape. I imagine he has.

Jason Baldwin has hit the diamond this off-season, the top ten linemen out of Archbishop Wood. Love that the young man is staying active away from football, developing a secondary skill set is always something scouts like myself hold valuable. I know Baldwin plays multiple positions for Wood baseball, both first-base and pitching. The interior lineman looks to hold onto his top-ten rank this off-season. Football might’ve taken a small drop on the priority ladder.

A sleeper to move up in my ranks, as the top ten debut rank for Kenny Hampe Kenny Hampe 6’3″ | 295 lbs | OL Muncy | 2025 State PA was a modest one. I’d love to get in front of him in a camp setting to pick apart his game a bit further, as I have a feeling we might be drastically under-rating him as a whole. He’s got a frame similar to Yatchenko and Williams, while also providing position/alignment versatility in the trenches. Quiet on Twitter like many on this list, yet I love seeing him on any kind of All-Academic post. We should highlight grades much more often, great to see Hampe succeeding in the classroom!
