Brown Football commit. 6’2, 275 pounds. A young man who brings a cerebral approach to interior line play. A team captain whose closet is likely littered with accolades accumulated throughout the years. A perennial Top 100 placer too.
Central Catholic has the perfect glue to mesh together the mixture of youth, inexperience, and hype. Deploying

in the same huddle as Kalis and Sassic has to hold a tremendous amount of value. Having a senior who sets an example on and off the field has likely helped the two stalwart tackles develop more than we can possibly know. Watching center play from field level is close to impossible, so I won’t pretend to take away much from the game against North Allegheny. Brackney’s regular season highlights further cemented what I thought of him in the past,

is flat-out one of the best IOL Pennsylvania has to offer. A 2nd-level blocker who is dominant at the POA. An ultra polite young man, you wouldn’t think so based on some of the nasty blocks he can put on tape. Brackney is the third elite lineman along this unit.

is one of the best offensive linemen in the 2025 class. He is equally as good in the run game as he is in pass blocking. He has good feet and moves well. He is especially good in the run game with his mauling style of blocking. Brackney is committed to Brown, which is a huge opportunity for him to play at the next level.

said about Brackney:
“Sam is another quality OL with valuable game experience. He’s an efficient OG that fires off low and runs his feet through contact. He’s agile enough to fulfill assignments on the 2nd level. He’s currently 6’2, 255 pounds but displays good strength, finishing plays physically. He’s a consistent performer that excels at pulling and pass protecting. He plays at a low pad level and stalemates bigger competition. Brackney is one of the clear enforcers along the O-line for the Vikings”.

Brackney is a D1 OL prospect with a ton of upside. He has good bend, and he does a good job of not rising up during pass pro. He has nimble feet and did a bang-up job competing against top-notch competition. He’s proportionately built and has two full seasons to add bulk to his 6’2, 255 lbs frame.

, I can assure you that no one else was working on pass sets in Rome! Brackney was! That’s something you don’t see every day. The young man hasn’t stopped working from what I hear, whether or not he’s traveling and/or taking visits. Brackney is looked at as one of the premier linemen pieces in the state. To keep that recognition, hard work is going to have to be the standard. Those in place at PCC will drill that into existing and incoming talent. Excited to see one of the better interior linemen at collegiate camps this summer.
