Segall is a very well put together kid that can dominate both sides of the ball and had a stellar Freshman campaign for Saguaro. He is a powerful runner from his quarterback position and shows a good long stride that covers ground and can break into the open quickly. He is a patient passer that can feel pressure from the edge while not afraid to step up and take a hit in order to deliver a ball downfield. Passing the initial eye test, especially for a freshman, he will be one of the most exciting sophomores to watch this Fall and should start drawing college interest.
Highlights
Hegg is a still developing player that has a strong build and good size for a first year high school player while very effective on both sides of the ball even-though his season was cut short due to injury. Playing both inside linebacker and running back, he should find his home on the defensive side of the ball during his career for Saguaro due to his size and overall athleticism and strengths. He shows natural instincts against the run, reads plays quickly and shows closing speed/open field tackling abilities while able to thump in the box against bigger blockers and backs. Offensively, he is a tough and bruising runner that can bounce it outside, is patient in-between the tackles and looks for contact at the end of his runs.
Highlights
Nesbit had an outstanding first year for ALC and put up big time numbers. He totaled 25+ TD’s and 1,800 APY while averaging 200+ yards per game. He is a quick twitched athlete with a downhill running style, patience in the hole and runs behind his pads with natural lean through traffic while finishing runs. He shows good foot speed through the first two levels, contact balance in traffic and the ability to weave his way through arm/ankle tackles while flashing a third level gear as well. He is a put together kid that should continue to have an exciting high school career.
