The offseason is no time for rest. For numerous prospects, now is the time to make a name for themselves and start working their way onto the radar. Here are a few prospects that fit that description and are continuing to grow this off-season.

[player_tooltip player_id='275996' first='Amari' last='Alston'] - 2025 - Grayson

Alston has been a name to monitor out of Grayson for the past two years. While he may be on the shorter side, he is an elite athlete. In fact, he is one of the best athletes on the Grayson team. Alston projects at RB but could likely play numerous skill spots as well as be a contributor on special teams. As you could expect, his elite speed translates to the football field. Once he is in the open field, he is able to separate using his sheer speed alone. He isn't just limited to his straight-line speed, however. He has good vision and patience as he waits for his blocks to set up. He also has good lateral movement and can make defenders miss in a phone booth. Once coaches get eyes on Alston this spring, I expect they come away very impressed.

https://twitter.com/CoachStokowski/status/1641199583500877825?s=20

Alexander Sanchez - WR - Grayson

Another speedy Grayson product that has been drawing eyes in the Grayson building this offseason. Once spring rolls around, I expect some serious college interest to pick up. Sanchez has elite speed that should translate to the football field. Along with his speed, he is a good athlete at 6'2 180, offering the QB a wide catch radius. Sanchez is still waiting to break onto the scene, but he has the obvious tools and upside to become a contributor for the Rams next year. Sanchez also happens to be a pretty big standout on the diamond. Once he hits the field and gets meaningful snaps, he has breakout potential.

https://twitter.com/CoachSB_4theG/status/1635792548080807936?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id='1195678' first='Gabe' last='Daniels'] - WR - GAC

In my opinion, Daniels is one of the best hidden gems that the state has to offer and should start to see his stock rise on the recruiting trail soon. Daniels plays both ways for GAC, but he checks a lot of boxes at receivers. For starters, he offers a large catch radius with his 6'2 175 pound frame and ability to rise up and high point the football. He also has good speed and footwork and is very polished as a route runner. He can start and stop on a dime and create separation with just one or two quick moves. Daniels is a high-energy player that is not afraid to take on contact and go up and get the ball in tight coverage. He shows good focus when the ball is in the air and good body control as he reels in the football in uncomfortable spots. Daniels can create separation and can also go up and get the football. In my opinion, I think he has P5 upside, especially with two more full seasons to develop.

https://twitter.com/thegabedaniels/status/1642537936347439105?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id='706633' first='Jake' last='Thorner'] - LB - Walton

Thorner is a rangey LB prospect that has a few FBS offers under his belt. The Walton product is a tackling machine, flying all over the field and showing good tackling technique at the point of attack. Thorner is one of the faster LBs in the state which allows him to run sideline to sideline and maintain leverage on ball carriers. With his speed, he is also effective coming off the edge and is built to be a Blitzer. Might not be built like your prototypical ILB size-wise, but has sneaky aggression and can fly to the football in a hurry. If Thorner could get to around 230 at the next level without sacrificing any speed and explosiveness, he has a chance to be a real impact player in the future.

https://twitter.com/JakeThorner96/status/1634957228976517120?s=20
