2025 Northeast Ohio Offensive Players in the Rankings

An intelligent field general that can improvise at an effective level, Fox commands his offense as a pocket passer with above average accuracy.  He displays a nice arm with touch on deep passes to throw for more than 3,000 yards this past fall. When reading a defense to find an open receiver, Fox processes at rapid speed to deliver a ball where only his man can get it. His accuracy is his best trait to get balls out cleanly to an open receiver to catch the ball and move up field. While Fox can carve up a defense with a clean pocket, he shows flashes of his athleticism when scrambling while keeping his eyes down field to exploit a defensive breakdown to gain yards. His natural abilities make him a player that gets the most out of his receivers and makes everyone around him better. Kaltenbach has an arm most quarterbacks work years for thanks to his time as a pitcher developing a 92 mph fastball. Making the long throws look easy, Kaltenbach places the ball where it needs to be for his receivers to run after the catch. Letting his arm do the work, he challenges defensive backs regularly. On short routes, Kaltenbach leads his man to again put an emphasis on yards after the catch. Kaltenbach has good footwork in the pocket and on rollouts, but when he needs to scramble to make a play, he is quick to get his feet set and get a ball off to his receiver with velocity. Spending most of his time as an interior lineman at the right guard spot, Lewis is a future left tackle with his strength and size still in the developing stages. A big-hitter at the point of contact, Lewis does a good job of maintaining blocks and not getting beat by faster guys. While he has the tools to be the cornerstone of an offensive line, he shows good form in pulling from the guard spot to make lead blocks. As a run blocker, Lewis can swing his out under control to create openings for his backs to go through. Lewis is a student in the weightroom and already showing impressive numbers to make him an even stronger lineman. He is accomplished in the shot put during his football offseason. Burt is a threat to take off and run on any given play that requires at least one defender to spy on him. Even when he's the focal point of the defense, Burt has the quickness to get past defenders and high end speed to leave them behind. On designed run plays, he has good form to hit the holes hard and burst through to the second level. Burt is an elusive runner even when he takes a hit and jersey grabs aren't enough to bring him down as he displays powerful balance to keep moving. While mobility is his best threat, Burt has a nice arm to get the ball downfield. He shows good ability to throw on the run while scrambling outside of the pocket. When a play calls for it, Burt isn't afraid of contact and gets his jersey dirty to provide blocks for his backs.
