Going further into these crazy powerhouse athletes the athleticism as well as the progression of each of them into the next stages of their football career and what they do with it.
Cavon Wise
Cavon Wise
QB 2024- Wise is crucial to the Harvey offensive line up. His ability to roll from left to right within the line of scrimmage is incredible as that is some thing that he pairs with his speed. Due to his speed and his ability to shift from right to left, while having the defenders coming towards him is a real staple to his athleticism the ability to amidst moving, as well as make a way for receivers. This high level utilization of direction is a tool that is incredible. While Wise is not often sitting in the pocket, when he is placed in that position, he can make huge plays for various yards off of that. In addition to his ability to sit in the pocket the way that Wise throws and executes his throws comes from a more grounded center, which enables him to dial in and have a lot of power through his throws. Overall wise is a powerhouse and truly utilizes his power whether it’s in his run game or his passing game whatever it may be to demand control on the field.
Joey Heron
Joey Heron
WR 2025- Heron playing on both sides of the ball at both DB and wide receiver has shown incredible speed but more importantly, his eye coordination, and where he is always looking at the ball is a strong suit of his. Not only does he hold the strong suit in both positions, but as a wide receiver, holds a 95% catch rate, and can always bring the ball to him while at the same time always being on the lookout for where the ball is. When Heron is at the defensive position, he had multiple interceptions on this previous season and showed incredible growth for all of them as he is able to move in wherever is needed of him. More importantly, he can come up onto the line at a very quick rate due to his speed, but also can make huge plays when he can’t as easily put pressure on the line with this receivers. Those matching up against Heron have it hard as he is able to be right there and make big plays and watch where the ball is coming shows incredible timing to knock the ball away. Heron is definitely somebody who’s up-and-coming and has another two seasons, to perfect all the skills and take them to the next level, which will be exciting to watch.
Noah Willig
Noah Willig
ATH 2024-Willig had some outstanding noteworthy plays within his junior season. This past fall a couple key place were his ability in the special teams position as a punt returner. This was huge for him as he blew past the defenders as well as stayed dominant in his running and posture, making it impossible for him to go down. Not only was Willig’s punt return game on point this previous season his position at the wide receiver slot was incredible as well. Whether he is performing a comeback route, or simply just a slot, catch and run he is able to make big plays happen. His key way to success, stems from his momentum, and his pull off of defenders, creating gaps and opportunities to run along the sideline. When he is put into a position in the middle of the field, his ability for after catch yardage is extreme and not only is far more in beating his defenders. He is able to be solid and tricky to bring down all of these assets make him a tremendous player and I’m excited to see in the next year as I haven’t seen too much rolling in for him just yet. I’m excited to see him get put under the spotlight and shine in his last year of his high school season.
2027- Ternosky, a up-and-coming superstar made a huge stance in his game play as he’s approaching high school years. In the next four I’m excited to see him, not only is he excelling on the offenses side of the ball, he is definitely a all-around athlete as he does other sports as well, and shows his efficiency through those. I’m excited to see the growth and the change in his throwing structure but more so speed and just the ability to look into his opponents at any point.
