Players to watch: Third and Ten 7v7 National Team Part 2

Fresh off of an incredible season running track, Brown will be bringing scary speed to this lineup. He has the ability to fly past just about any defender in the country. Brown's elite speed will also be a huge factor on defense. I can see Brown being an excellent safety for this squad. His ability to read the quarterback's eyes and make plays during the fall was impressive. He had plenty of touchdown saving tackles during his junior season. He has the ability to absolutely sling the ball into tight spaces. Hermanns already made a name for himself at the Prep Redzone showcase in January, now he has a chance of impressing even further. I could see him showing out against elite 7v7 teams due to his accuracy. I saw Martin in person in June, 2022 to then January 2023 and he got bigger, faster and stronger. For Hills East, it was evident that he was a leader just as a sophomore. He makes hard and sharp cuts while running routes and he is able to burst out of them quickly into open space. Hills East was a heavy run team but that could change this upcoming fall. Martin's ability at wide receiver will be lethal for Thunderbirds. He is pound for pound one of the toughest players on the island. The strength he has built will lead him into a lot of catches through contact. His efficiency and ability to play amazing in the postseason was the most impressive part. During the year he also showed he was a terrific running threat. He has the athleticism to make plays running the ball or making throws on the run. Tripptree's quick decision making will guide him to success with Third and Ten. His arm talent is very exciting and now he will work with some electrifying wide receivers. He did a tremendous job against the DB's at the tryout and this simply was a continuation of junior year. Lewis had a huge year leading his conference in receiving yards and part of the success was his quickness. Lewis had a nice release from the line of scrimmage and he was a mismatch in the slot. He was able to hang onto a ton of passes through contact in the fall. Last month at the tryouts it was awesome to see White battling against his Titan teammates along with other elite receivers. He showed he can go toe to toe with all different types of talented receivers. White will be one of the leaders of the 18U secondary during all these tournaments. Teams will most likely test White with bigger receivers and he'll be up for the task.
