He is big, athletic, and strong at the DE position. He plays from a flexible, coiled 3 point in addition to standing up on the edge. He is lightning off the ball and charges up the field creating a new LOS. His lockout is firm with a quick escape once the ball declares. He gets after the OL trying to block him. He plays both the run and pass with his hair on fire and is always around the ball. His dip and rip is advanced with good bend. On film he has many highlights this past season of coming downhill like a missile and making plays on the LOS. He has good technique and flexible hips. He stays deeper than the deepest and reads the play through the line to the QB well. He works the hands well and has good ball skills. He is fast enough to stay in phase and battle for the ball. He is a very good tackler and makes plays in the backfield and open field. He is very athletic, fast, and physical. He runs behind his pads with good pop when tackled. He gets the tough yards in between the tackles with his patience and vision. He separates with his speed in the open field. He is shifty when he has to be and makes defenders miss. He has soft hands in the screen game and blocks well when called upon. He stands 6'4 and is extremely athletic. He runs great routes and has good intelligence on the field in regard to spacing and when to settle. He can beat man off the LOS and blow by the zone corner. He is tall and called upon in the redzone. He wins the contested throws and attacks the ball at it's highest point. He is tough to tackle and gets YAC. He blocks well on the perimeter with passion for it.
