Rocco DeMartinis, DB/Ret/Ath, 2024 – I love watching Rocco play football because you can see the passion and aggression on film. He is really athletic and twitchy and helps the team in a myriad of ways. He is a special teams dynamo and makes all of the critical tackles on Kickoff and Punt. He is fast as lightning in the return game with good wiggle. At Safety he reads plays really well. He triggers downhill quickly in the run game and makes tackles on the LOS. He stays on top of the deep routes and in phase. He plays the ball through the hands and isn’t afraid to go for the pick. He hammers the underneath throws with quick transitions back to the receiver. It is very hard to throw a screen pass to his side. He has good technique overall and plays the game with a mean streak. Deserving of a long look for a scholarship.
Kyle Fairbanks, OL/DL, 2024 – Kyle is a very good lineman who doesn’t give up sacks and finishes blocks into the dirt. He stand 6’0 and weighs 250 with room to grow. He plays a variety of positions on the offensive line but is most comfortable at RG. He is very athletic and flexible. His stance is coiled with his knees inside the toes. He comes off the ball with good technique in his base and works up and through the defenders with his hands inside. His feet never stop moving until the whistle blows. He has good placement on his downblocks and doubles very well with patience to the second level. In the pass game he has a good sense of when to jump a defender or utilize traditional pass pro. He has good posture, a powerful punch, and is staunch against the bull rush. Keep an eye on him this offseason.
Tiffin Calvert
Lucas Recker, OL, 2024 – Lucas is a very good small school football player. He stands 6’4 and weighs 270 with room to grow. He plays RT with aggression and good technique. He is flexible in his stances and fires off the ball with a wide base, powerful punch, and inside hand placement. His drives blocks finish defenders in the dirt. He is a good down blocker with the right targeting and drive. He covers defenders up quick laterally and runs to the proper number. His pass blocking is physical with a good sense of when to jump a defender or utilize traditional pass pro. He kick slides with square shoulders and keeps his inside foot up and stops the inside move. Certainly worth a look at a high college level.
Cameron Moyer, OL, 2026 – Cameron was a Varsity starter for the Senecas as a Freshman. He is a very big individual with good athleticism. His base stays wide on his drive blocks and his feet never stop moving until the whistle blows. He creates a new LOS and finishes blocks into the dirt. He punches up and through defenders. He has advanced zone double technique and is patient to the LB’s with proper leverage. He runs his feet quickly to the right and left on outside run and covers up defenders. His pass pro is very good with the correct posture, foot positioning, and punch. Cameron is a younger rising star in North Central Ohio.
