Robinson has really good range for a linebacker and does a great job of making plays sideline to sideline. His ability to neutralize blockers and shed to make plays or impact plays is some of the best you will see in the state. Dallas Harris Dallas Harris 6’2″ | 285 lbs | OL University Prep | 2024 State NY is not only one of the most experience lineman headed into his senior season in all of New York but Harris is one of the most fundamentally sound players in the state. The Center out of UPrep is about as consistent as they come. Harris has incredible tape as a run-blocker, pass blocker, and moves well in space to be a lead blocker. At 6’2″, 282lbs Harris has really great size for the Center position and can either overpower defensive lineman with his strength or move to the second level and stick with smaller players because of his solid athleticism.

Darryl Jenkins Darryl Jenkins 6’3″ | 275 lbs | OL Cardinal Hayes | 2024 State NY is one of the most physically gifted lineman in all of New York. Jenkins spent most of his time this past season at LT protecting the blindside and he showed that he can be extremely effective as a pass protector. Jenkins has one of the strongest upper bodies in New York and his ability to engage with defenders and control them with his arms is impressive. His lower body shows solid movement and he has good foot speed for his size. Jenkins made considerable strides not just from last to this year but as the season went on. Jenkins is definitely a candidate to watch this season and could jump up our rankings even more if he can develop a little more consistency in his game.

Mekhi Edwards Mekhi Edwards 5’10” | 175 lbs | DB Christ the King | 2024 NJ is a really physical defensive back who plays much bigger than his size. Edwards is not afraid to jam receivers and be physical at the LOS but also will make plays after the catch or around the LOS on screens. Edwards has really good short area burst and plays really fast. In coverage Edwards is good at staying in-stride with receivers down the field. Edwards has some of the best instincts and physical play amongst the defensive backs in this class. His play speed and physicality make him a very intriguing prospect at the next level. If Edwards can continue to improve in coverage and show strong ball skills on tape then he could jump up even higher next season.

Antoine hit the 1,000 yard mark this season and added 10 touchdowns in a breakout season. Antoine has the speed to break off big runs and the vision to find running lanes very quickly. With the ball in his hands Antoine can beat you with speed or break through tackles. With really solid balance Antoine is tough to bring down especially in space. Antoine has good acceleration through the hole and his one-cut upfield style is one of his best traits. Antoine jumps up our rankings after a really strong year and could compete to be the best running back in this class if he can be more consistent game-to-game.

Jake Tripptree Jake Tripptree 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB Sayville | 2024 State NY showed us this season why he deserved to jump up the rankings with an incredible efficient season where he led Sayville to an undefeated record. Tripptree had 31 TDs to only 5 INTS for a 6/1 TD/INT Ratio which was one of the best in New York this season. Tripptree also completed 67% of his passes showcasing his efficiency as a thrower. Tripptree has really solid touch on his passes and does a really good job of using anticipation and timing to throw his receivers open. Tripptree is a really solid athlete and can be a factor in the run game but his athleticism and movement in the pocket are what help him a dangerous passer. Overall, Tripptree’s arm talent is undeniable and there may not be a player in New York who we are excited to see more in his senior season than Tripptree.
