Daniels has great length at 6'5 285. He carries his weight very, very well. I've had the pleasure of getting to Daniels in person on several occasions both in a camp and game setting. Daniels anchors well in pass pro and has a good punch that he uses to deliver a blow to defenders. He's athletic and runs well in the run game where he can get to the second level and deliver devastating blows. He's mild mannered off the field, but he plays with a nasty disposition which I love. Phillip wants and expects to win every rep. I think he's a perfect fit for the offensive guard position at the college level. He's a worker that can take coaching and apply it at a high level. As he continued to add weight and strength, I think he has a very bright future.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["600299"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Carretta committed to Pitt back in June of 2022. Carretta is a 6'5 310-pound tackle from Saint Charles Prep. Carretta is an athletic offensive tackle who excels in the blocking game. When he engages a defender, he locks on and gets good leg drive that he uses to drive the man out of the play. He has the feet and the quickness to pull from the tackle position and execute his block. When he knocks his man to the ground, he does a great job of finding someone else to block. He needs to continue to get stronger, but Carretta has a great base to work with.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["274820"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Rasheem is an explosive athlete from Pickerington Central. Unfortunately, his senior season was cut short due to injury. Biles was a playmaker on both sides of the ball for the Tigers, but I believe he'll play on the defensive side of the ball for Pitt. Biles is a talented safety who has a nose for the ball. He's a guy who can be put in the deep center and trust that he's going to take the deep away. He takes great angles and has the speed to cover massive amounts of field. He loves to make the big hit when it's there. I think Rasheem will also be able to play in the box here and there to show different looks. I think Rasheem needs to continue to add weight and strength, but I think defensive coordinator Randy Bates has a piece in Biles that he can do a lot of different things with.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["600334"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Van Rooy has the prototypical body type for a D1 offensive lineman. His footwork is solid. In pass protection he has a quick kick step that he uses to win the edge, he plays with a strong anchor in take on a bull rush. He has a solid punch that stalemates pass rushers. In the run game he does a great job of playing with a low pad level to maintain leverage and win the rep. Collin has the athleticism to get to the second level or get across formation on pull plays. I could see Van Rooy could eventually sliding down to the guard position.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["600311"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Keyes played both running back and linebacker for Ironton. In college he'll move to the offensive side of the ball full time. Keyes was originally committed to Wisconsin until the Badgers underwent a coaching change and Keyes would then flip to Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons are getting a big athletic back who runs with good vision. He does a great job of using blockers to set up his runs. He plays with an edge and a want to make the most of every play. He's also a willing blocker in pass protection. I think Keyes has quite a bit of room to continue to develop if he can continue to work on his lower body strength and drive.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["34500"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"Vernon has been on the national radar since probably his sophomore year of high school. He had a big frame even at that point and had superb combination of athleticism to go with it, especially for a 16-year-old. While Vernon initially profiled as a defensive end he has continued to grow and add weight and I see him now as a either a defensive tackle or a or a defensive end in a 3-4 defense as a two-gapping defensive end. Vernon's quickness and athleticism for his size I think would make him a player that could reck shop on the interior of the defensive line, which is where I look for him to call home at Notre Dame. His get-off and his athleticism are going to win at the point of attack, and from that point his speed and athleticism will help him make plays behind the line of scrimmage. The defensive tackle at the Power 5 level I think will be a little bit of an adjustment for Vernon, but once he gets comfortable, I think he could flourish.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["380210"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Minich is just another of Lakota West's embarrassment of riches in the defensive backfield. While some of their other top prospect got big time recruiting attention earlier on in their careers Minich's didn't come until the summer before his senior season. That's when the Notre Dame offer came, and after a couple of weeks of mulling things over he committed to the Fighting Irish. Minich has pretty much everything you want in a safety. He's fast, he has good feet and hips, and flies around to the ball. He tracks the ball well and has good ball skills once the ball gets to him. He actually played quite a bit of receiver for the Firebirds and made some fantastic catches on offense. As good as Minich is in coverage he isn't afraid to come up and play the run and is a very consistent tackler in doing so. He just consistently plays at a high level and that's what any defensive coordinator is looking for as his last line of defense. I can't wait to see how Ben continues to fill out and develop as a football player.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63c59f87b3cbb"} /-->
