There were over 70 players that participated in the combine. There were several talented players who displayed their skill sets while participating in the various drills throughout the combine. The talented players listed caught my attention throughout the combine.
Johnathan Montague Jr. – QB, 6’1″ 195 (No. 3 QB, No. 10 Overall), Knightdale HS. Johnathan displayed a quick release on his throws which were on target to the receivers during the passing drills. He displayed good arm strength on the short to medium range passes. There was good velocity on the passes thrown. Johnathan displayed good footwork as he dropped back to complete passes. The recruiting interest is expected to pick up for the 2024 prospect.
Zach Lawrence Zach Lawrence 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB Butler | 2025 State NC – QB, 6’2″ 190 (No. 1 QB, No. 3 Overall), Butler HS. Zach displayed good arm strength and accuracy on his throws which were on target to the receivers during the passing drills. He displayed a fluid and quick throwing motion with complete follow-through. Zach displayed good footwork as he dropped back to complete passes. The 2025 prospect is receiving a lot of interest from D1 schools.
Braden Mashtare – WR, 6’0″ 195, Landrum HS, South Carolina. Braden ran good pass routes and good separation from defenders to make catches during the one-on-one drills. He displayed good hands on the passes caught in traffic. Braden displayed quickness and fluid cuts while participating in agility drills. The 2024 prospect has a bright upside which should generate a lot of recruiting interest.
Camden Moore – RB, 5’5″ 160, Williamsburg Academy, South Carolina. Camden displayed speed and the ability to accelerate in the open field while participating in drills throughout the combine. He ran with a low center of gravity and displayed good balance during the one-on-one drills. Camden gave maximum effort while participating in various drills. The 2024 prospect should generate recruiting interest from D3 schools.
Tavorace Williams – RB, 5’8″ 160, Woodmont HS, South Carolina. Tavorace displayed good change of direction and speed to accelerate past defenders during the one-on-one drills. He displayed good balance and vision while participating in agility drills. The 2025 prospect has a bright upside and should generate a lot of recruiting interest.
Harry “Zo” Smalls – RB, 5’9″ 190, Savannah Christian Preparatory School, Savannah, Georgia. Harry is a muscular running back who runs with power and displays quickness to change directions quickly. He displayed speed and good balance while participating in the agility drills. Harry’s performance in the drills catches one’s attention and he was clearly one of the top running backs in the combine. The 2025 prospect should generate a lot of recruiting interest.
Demiko Pitts – WR, 6’0″ 175, Great Bridge HS, Virginia. Demiko ran good pass routes and good separation from defenders to make catches during the one-on-one drills. He displayed good hands while making catches in traffic. Demiko moved with quickness and balance while participating in agility drills. The 2024 prospect should generate a lot of recruiting interest.
Elijiah Oehlke Elijiah Oehlke 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Trinity Christian | 2025 State NC – QB, 6’1″ 185, Gray’s Creek HS. Elijiah displayed good arm strength and good ball velocity on his throws. He displayed a quick release on his throwing motion. Elijiah delivered accurate short and medium range throws. The 2025 prospect should begin to generate recruiting interest.
Bryce Rothwell – TE, 6’4″ 245, Lucy Beckham HS, South Carolina. Bryce ran good pass routes and good separation from defenders to make catches. He used his body to shield defenders on the catches made in traffic. Bryce displayed good speed and quickness while participating in agility drills. The 2024 prospect should generate a lot of recruiting interest.
