After a short break, we dive into Part II of III of the High School Standouts from the My7v7 Midwest Legends Classic held at the Dundas Dome last Saturday. Here are a few more prospects that turned the page of my notepad from Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska.

- At the My7v7 Midwest Legends Classic, I came away intrigued with the quick release that Tyson showed from the plethora of throws he made on a variety of routes from short, intermediate, and deep.
- I also was logged in watching him move thru his progressions with his good vision he showed off for the My7v7 18U team.
- He shows off a developed touch ball on intermediate routes, and from my eyes there is some development room to grow smoother spin on it as Tyson enters his senior season for the Jaguars. I also really like this young man’s poise he shows off with his pocket presence as you can tell he’s comfortable within the quick release I mentioned.

- First of all I love the character Curtis has from our quick interaction last Saturday as you can tell very quickly that even after winning the 18U championship, just how humble of a player this young man really is.
- He’s got the quick twitch with a high use of his agility to set the tone from the start of his route and that allows him to get ample separation like he did from the reps I watched out of him on Saturday at the Midwest Legends Classic.
- Curtis also catches my eyes with his footwork utilizing his crossover running ability as a safety, as he’s got well-balanced feet that can turn on a dime to get to the football in a quick nick of time.
- BIG fan of his tape when he utilizes the double-move as he’s able to tie up the secondary’s feet like an untied shoe, and has that athletic ability to chase down the football on his route even when it is just slightly out of reach for most WRs.
- Curtis is certainly a small town prospect I would take on Saturdays as he has that swiss-army mentality engraved into his game. From my eyes, Curtis has an Division I fit. Excited to watch him ball out at prospect camps.

- Watching Araf’s reactive instincts he has in full throttle was a blast to watch last Saturday at the Dundas Dome, as this young man has some bolting speed that shows even more bursty in a 7v7 field setting.
- Araf has a raging motor that can carry the field from sideline to sideline and he’s not afraid to press the gas and climb up from the third level to the first level to go add some physical tackling in his plethora of skillsets.
- I also love Araf’s footwork and crossover speed as he’s not only well-balanced with his feet, he has that ball-tracing ability with added fluidity and good vision to eat up his wide receiver with patient yet sizeable pressing physicality.
- It might be early as my first look at this 2026 athlete, but I like the chances Araf has to play at the next level in the next handful of years as there is a lot of upside yet to be seen!
