<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The first installment of the Prep Redzone Next Camp Series kicked off with a stop in the talent rich state of Texas. The camp, which was a complete sellout, featured athletes in the classes of 2027-2029. It provided an opportunity to experience the evaluation process featuring combine testing, as well as position-specific drills and concluded with an ultra-competitive one on one competition at each position. Camp attendees were made up of some the top talent from Texas, but athletes from Arizona, Florida, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kansas and more who made the trip to Fort Worth to show off their skills. The MVPs from each position set the tone for the camp from the start. Here's a look at the MVPs at each position.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["415058"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Kreye had a stellar performance that led to being selected as the MVP of the quarterbacks. During the quarterback drills, Kreye moved fluidly through each drill and he displayed superb footwork with quiet feet. Zephyr has a lean, athletic build at six foot one with the potential to continue to add strength and muscle to his frame. Kreye's arm talent is special. He stands tall in his set up with a strong base, he engages his hips to get good torque in his hips, which aids in his accuracy. Zephyr possesses the arm strength to drive the ball in tight windows and has great touch on his deep ball.  Kreye will be on name to know on Friday nights in the near future as heads to Denton Guyer High School, a perennial Texas powerhouse.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["404107"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Carraway passes the eye test when he steps on the field. He has an enormous wing span, has nimble feet and good hip flexibility. During the run blocking portion of the linemen drills, Jordan showed off a quick first step, he plays with good leverage and has a tenacious mentality when he locks on a defender. Carraway has a strong punch with violent hands. Jordan was the most consistent lineman during one-on-one drills in the pass protection session. He gets into his kick slide quickly; he sets the table with a firm base and delivers a violent punch when he engages his opponent. Carraway has the skill set to develop into an elite level guard or offensive tackle as he heads into high school. He possesses the frame to add strength along with bulk that will catapult his stock up as he matures physically.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["474870"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Heilmann made the trip to Forth Worth from Oklahoma and came away with the MVP award for the running back group. Brock has a stout build with a thick lower half.  Heilmann showed off his shiftiness during open field pursuit drills vs linebackers. His ability to make one cut, change gears and accelerate was on full display. He won consistently on his reps and gave defenders fits. Brock runs with a powerful forward lean and showed good burst during the goal line portion of the drills, while displaying a nose for the end zone. His oily hips allow him to make defenders miss in the open field. Heilmann possesses the skillset to be a threat in the passing game and showed off his strong but soft hands in the passing session vs the linebackers. Heilmann put everyone on notice in Texas that he is a name to know in Oklahoma as heads into high school.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["404081"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Feaster is one the most dynamic athletes in the countryu002du002dthere's a reason has almost double digit verbal scholarship offers as an eighth-grader. His elite suddenness is next level, his ability to stop, start, change direction and explode in and out of his breaks makes him special. Feaster has a large catch radius, which allows him to win on the 50/50 contested balls routinely. He has large mitts that engulf the football, he is a hands catcher and receives the ball consistently hands first. Ethan blazed his through the combine testing posting a 9'5 broad jump and a 4.5 forty-yard dash. Feaster is a twitchy athlete who creates separation off the line of scrimmage and has the speed to take the top off of a defense. His skill set will earn him an opportunity to make an immediate impact when he steps on campus at Desoto High School.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["408582"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Rowe is ready for primetime right now. He possesses the skill set to make an immediate impact when he steps on a high school field in 2023. Zane had a dominate performance to take home the defensive lineman MVP award. Rowe has an explosive first step, he showed the ability to bend well and runs the arc like a veteran. He has an extended arm reach with violent hands, that enables him to shuck and shed his opponent quickly. Rowe is an explosive, twitchy athlete who can play multiple positions that include tight end, wide receiver and linebacker, which he played at times on his middle school squad. Zane plays with a swagger; his body language exudes confidence and he engages with his peers encouraging them through every rep to be dominate. He routinely communicated with his coaching staff to ask about his technique and he applied those tips and adjustments to sharpen his game. Rowe is a multi-sport athlete who can step on the basketball court and dominate, as well as the baseball diamond when he takes the mound as a pitcher and strokes the baseball at the plate. Zane will be making headlines under Friday night lights in 2023.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["403017"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"Kohen had a superb camp showing to come out on top as the Linebacker MVP. His footwork during ladder and bag drills was clean, he moves with intent in space and his ability to be a dancing bear on his feet were evident early. Fiefia has a long, wiry build with a frame that will allow him to add bulk. Kohen displayed good speed, that enables him to close in on ball carriers and close the gap fast. He has the make up of your classic thumper at the linebacker position, with the skill set to run from sideline to sideline. During the pass defense drills vs the running backs, he used his extended length to cause multiple pass break ups. He has a nose for the football and as he continues to mature, he will find a home on the Euless Trinity defense in high school.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["444463"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"McGee proved on every rep, every drill and each time he stepped up to defend against a wide out that he is now one of the best cornerbacks in the country in the class of 2027. McGee has great length, he gets into to his back pedal quickly, he engages his opponent at the line of scrimmage with violent hands and stays in phase while in coverage smoothly. His ability to change direction with no false steps puts him in position routinely to make plays on the football. McGee plays with a swagger and confidence beyond his years, which are valuable attributes in his game. For his middle school squad and for his DEA Select football team, he switches to the offensive side of the ball and shows off the explosion to make a house call from anywhere on the field. Dhillon will be a national recruit before he leaves high school.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63bc271214c13"} /-->
