About Kohen
Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Kohen put together an impactful, versatile performance at the Midwestern State camp, working across multiple stations that tested speed, movement, and position flexibility. He showed solid athletic traits during testing, carrying that burst into both offensive and defensive drill work depending on his rotations. AIn one-on-one periods, he competed confidently regardless of matchup, showing the ability to adjust quickly to different assignments and stay engaged through each rep. What stood out most was his overall competitiveness — he didn’t take plays off and consistently found ways to stay involved in the action. Kohen received an offer later on that day.

Fiefia gets downhill in a hurry; he has good burst when closing in on the ball carrier and he has good eye discipline when reading the running backs movements in space. During the agility drills, he moved smoothly through the bags with excellent knee lift and he displayed the ability to plant and go without false steps. His extended arm length was on full display during the pass coverage drills versus the running backs, leading to multiple pass breaks up. Fiefia showed good patience and the ability to break on the ball quickly. Kohen has the frame to add bulk as he matures.

Kohen had a superb camp showing to come out on top as the Linebacker MVP. His footwork during ladder and bag drills was clean, he moves with intent in space and his ability to be a dancing bear on his feet were evident early. Fiefia has a long, wiry build with a frame that will allow him to add bulk. Kohen displayed good speed, that enables him to close in on ball carriers and close the gap fast. He has the make up of your classic thumper at the linebacker position, with the skill set to run from sideline to sideline. During the pass defense drills vs the running backs, he used his extended length to cause multiple pass break ups. He has a nose for the football and as he continues to mature, he will find a home on the Euless Trinity defense in high school.

Kohen is a do-it-all playmaker coming out Euless Junior High, a feeder program for one of the most historical programs in the state of Texas. Whether Kohen is on offense or defense, he is an absolute force on the field at 6-foot and 195-pounds. On the offensive side of the ball, Kohen is a sure-handed receiver who can be found making plays anywhere on the field as a thicker Wide Receiver, acting essentially like a Tight End. His ability to expand plays after contact is impressive for an athlete on this level. On the defensive side of the ball, where I feel his future will be, Kohen has the speed and the explosion to end plays before they even start out on the edge. Once he makes contact with the ball carrier, its game over. He’s a strong, explosive kid with a body type that translates to a few different positions right now. Depending on how big he gets–and he will get big–he could be anything from interior defensive tackle, to a 3-4 defensive end to perhaps even a middle linebacker. Time will tell here, but he looks like he’s going to be a player.
