Naupoto was aggressive at the snap with an explosive burst off of the line scrimmage and he has the speed to beat his opponent off the edge. Simione has a stout, thick build with broad shoulders and he has a powerful lower trunk. At engagement, he uses excellent leverage and his violent hands enabled him to stun his competition with a stiff blow. After watching his 8th grade regular season highlights, Naupoto showed that he is an explosive athlete!!! He was a beast on both sides of the football, lining up at running back, punishing defenders with his power, blowing by them with his speed, making several house calls and separating at the second level with ease. Defensively, he caused havoc from all angles, lining up at all three linebacker positions and rushing the passer off the edge. Simione is just scratching the surface. I expect him to shine on Friday nights real soon. His high school coaches will find a way to get him on the field.
