This group brought in a lot of athletes from across the state, and it gave us a lot of impressive performances that deserve the spotlight. The goal for today’s article is to give them that spotlight, look at what earned them a spot in the article, and any other necessary information related to each player. We start with with the seniors, as always.
The top senior of the group to jump out and grab my attention was the Eau Claire North receiver. The 6′ 175 lbs athlete ran 4.75 and had strong broad jumps of 9’1″ and 9’5″. The senior also stood out with his catching. Traeton had soft hands, and fought to come down with the ball through contact. Lastly, Traeton created his separation with his route running. While he doesn’t have blazing speed, Goss does have quicker feet in short areas. That allowed his to run clean routes and get in and out of his breaks faster than the defense.
I took a look at his film to see how his final season played out, and to see if what we saw Saturday was similar to the field. It was. Goss wins with that quick footwork and route running. He softly plucks the ball out of the air, and he did have sufficient speed to stretch the field when needed. Don’t miss out on the under the radar senior. I expect to see some of WI’s D3 programs to come calling.

One of the most impressive athletes of the Showcase was the sophomore WR/TE out of Brookfield East. The 6’3″ 216 lbs athlete dominated the testing portion for a kid his size. He broad jumped 9’5″ and ran 4.69 in the 40 yard dash. Athletically speaking, Trent looks ready to be the next premier TE talent in the state of WI. Where these top talents separate themselves is with body control. You can’t just be big, you need to be able to bend, lean, change direction with ease. That is what leads to massive mismatches for an offense. Trent proved to have that high level of body control.
Throughout the one on ones the long striding target gave the DBs fits because of his speed and body control. DBs didn’t want to press him, but a cushion didn’t help them much either as the big man ate up the space, and then pulled away out of his break. I was looking forward to seeing his hands as well. A kid this size that can catch the ball away from his body will provide a huge target area. Oiler proved he is a hands catcher. Trent definitely looks the part of TE1 of the Class of 2025.

Another standout Milwaukee Academy of Science athlete was junior WR Randy Moore Jr Randy Moore Jr 5’10” Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2024 WI . MAS had a great collection of ids in attention, and you will see another one later in this article. Randy checked in at 5’8″ 142 lbs, ran 4.75 in the 40, broad jumped 9’4″, and ran 4.34 in the shuttle drill. While not the biggest athlete, Randy proved to have the athleticism for some next level football.
Moore Jr. was one of the standouts from the one on one battles. He was able to end the day by earning a spot in one of the Best vs Best reps. Moore gave the defensive backs a hard time all day in the live battles. His route running was able to shine. Randy was so sudden into his breaks. That quickness had defenders being ready to recover after the break so much that Moore was able to use head fakes very effectively. While he wasn’t the biggest kid at the position, he definitely was one of the most reliable at getting open. Keep an eye on him next fall for his senior season.
Another impressive athlete who was in the running for Top Testing Performance of the Position was the Tomah junior. Elijah was the first athlete in Session II to stand out with a next level 4.25 second shuttle drill. I watched it happen live, and Elijah looked the part of a college athlete. He ran low to the ground, giving him a low center of gravity and allowing him to make those extremely quick changes of direction. The burst out of those changes was the best I saw at the Showcase. To further show off that burst, Elijah also broad jumped 10’2″. The cherry on top of his testing was a 4.61 40 yard dash. Elijah had one of the 5 best testing performances of the entire Showcase.
I wasn’t able to catch up with him in one on ones, so instead let’s check out his junior highlights. You don’t need to watch very long before that elite athleticism jumps off the tape. Brown plays at a different speed than everyone else on the field. He is a playmaker that makes the unusual plays on a weekly basis. The junior also has two way ability as a WR and DB. I think we are going to see a breakout year from Elijah.

Elijah spent his junior season being a very productive receiver for Waukesha North. He is not new to our coverage as he made one of our in season Top Performer articles. Now he is back after a strong performance at the PRZ WI Showcase. It was all thanks to his play in the one on one battles.
The 5’9″ 160 lbs junior was one of our 4 receivers to earn a spot in the Best vs Best battles to end the Showcase. That was thanks to his play in the live action portion of the day. Elijah is a gamer. When the moment arose, Mead took over. He proved to be a dangerous route runner. His routes were crisp, he didn’t tip off his breaks, and there was no hesitation. He always knew exactly how he was going to run his route. Then he would snag the ball out of the air with a natural ease. This is the type of player you want to find. One that turns it on when the lights come on. I am expecting a productive senior season for the wide receiver. College coaches need to be aware of him.

It was a tough battle, but we have our Top Testing Performer in the sophomore out o f Milwaukee Academy of Science. Brian was elite in every testing category. Scroll to the bottom to see all the numbers, but to summarize the day nobody ran, jumped, accelerated, or changed directions like Brian Stewart Brian Stewart 6’2″ | 180 lbs | WR Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2025 WI did. If you are looking for pure superior athleticism then Brian has to be on your recruiting board when the time comes for the sophomore. That is the exciting part. The young man still has two seasons and offseasons of development ahead of him to hone that athleticism into it’s most dangerous form.
The sophomore doesn’t have any film that I have come across, so I think we are in store for a big breakout junior campaign. MAS has a talented group of skill position athletes, and Brian looks to be at the top of it. I expect to see him stretch the field vertically, get the ball quickly so he can do damage after the catch, and maybe even be utilized on the ground game with jet sweeps. The more he gets the ball the better based off what I saw on Saturday.
One of the top athletes I wanted to see live was the WR who had earned my #1 ranking before the 2022 season kicked off. Pinter has a thick, powerful frame that has a lot of time to continue to develop. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Pinter end up a WR or TE recruit based off where he is at now. Pinter earned his spot in this article with what he did in the one on one battles. The young man already has a good sense of how to use that big frame to his advantage. He did a great job of always getting himself between the ball and the defender. That allowed him to box out and use his length to catch the ball away from his boy and farther from the defender. Dequavion’s big hands easily brought in passes, even when he was being hit or having his arms swatted. I’m excited to see how the athletic side of his game continues to develop over these next few years. It was a good showing for the WR.
Kameron was your Prep Redzone WI Showcase MVP for the receiver group. The sophomore continuously caught the eyes of the coaching staff with his talent, and his constant success in his one on one battle reps.
