These young men were significant contributors at the varsity level and displayed a wide array of talents on the field. Some of these guys have already picked up multiple division one offers, while others are still waiting on their first scholarship to come in. Regardless of where their recruitments stand; each prospect has plenty of potential and should be quite fun to watch over the next two seasons. Rashad Jones, 6’3″ 240, Belleville
- Has an explosive first step off the snap.
- Keeps his shoulder square to the line when unblocked and can still make a play after the football is handed off.
- Gives exceptional effort through the whistle.
Mason Mayne Mason Mayne 6'3" | 275 lbs | DL Lawton | 2025 MI , 6’3″ 230, Lawton
- Can generate a ton of torque via a locked and loaded base.
- Strong at the point of attack and can rip off interior blocks.
- Has the quickness and pad level to slip blocks on the inside.
Bobby Kanka Bobby Kanka 6'4" | 255 lbs | DL Howell | 2025 State MI , 6’5″ 250, Pinckney
- His pure strength makes block shedding look easy.
- Hands and hips work in unison to create knockback as a rusher.
- Comfortable as a stand-up or with his hand in the dirt.
Jayden Lockhart, 6’4″ 300, Davison
- Gets lost on twists and stunts on the inside.
- A sturdy anchor makes him tough to man-block 1 on 1.
- Eats up double teams without giving up an inch.
Brendon Rice, 6’3″ 255, North Farmington
- Extremely slippery at the point of attack.
- Has long arms to swat away the football if he can’t get to the quarterback.
- Plays with strong hands & good bend at the hips, knees, and ankles.
Bryant Weatherspoon Bryant Weatherspoon 6'3" | 230 lbs | DL Harper Woods | 2025 State MI , 6’3″ 230, Harper Woods
- Displayed a ton of fight as a run stuffer.
- Has proven production as both a five-technique and a three-technique.
- Push-pull move often catches opposing offensive linemen lunging.
Jordin Farrow Jordin Farrow 6'2" | 260 lbs | DL River Rouge | 2025 State MI , 6’3″ 265, River Rouge
- Plays with a sense of urgency and has a relentless motor.
- Displayed heavy hands once engaged.
- Is equally as effective against the run as he is against the pass.
Lamar Fairfax Jr., 6’2″ 255, Belleville
- Consistently makes tackles scraping down the line from the backside of runs.
- Can literally create knockback against opposing double teams.
- Will retrace in his rush lane to get “gimme” type sacks.
Zachary Green Zachary Green 6'2" | 240 lbs | DL Detroit Jesuit | 2025 State MI , 6’3″ 260, Detroit Jesuit
- Well trained as a hand fighter off the edge.
- Can win as a rusher using speed or power.
- Looks to deliver punishment on gap scheme pullers.
Willie Fletcher Willie Fletcher 6'3" | 240 lbs | DL Detroit King | 2025 State MI Jr., 6’3″ 255, Martin Luther King
- Has the tools to play as an end in a four-down or three-down scheme.
- Rush tempo is consistent throughout.
- Shows great burst once he gets a ball carrier in his sights.
