Patrick Williams – 2025 – DB – Rabun Gap Nacoochee
Extremely disciplined defensive back that is already receiving legitimate D1 hype. Can play CB or S, but likely projects longterm as a safety with good man coverage skills. Williams proved all year that he could make an impact with the ball in the air, tallying 4 INTs and 14 PBUs during his Sophomore season. In zone coverage, Williams shows great discipline and good field vision, always putting himself in position to make a play. When the ball is in the air, he does an excellent job of tracking it and shows great ball skills by climbing the ladder and high-pointing the football. Williams isn’t a burner, but he is very smooth as a runner and showcases good body control. With the ball in his hands, he can make offensive players miss and use his long strides to get downfield. All in all, Williams is a very disciplined football player with some good physical traits. As he continues to grow athletically, he will continue to receive D1 buzz.
Javin Gordon Javin Gordon 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Stephens County | 2025 State GA – 2025 – RB – Stephens County
Bowling ball-style back that possesses a unique blend of elusiveness, athleticism, and physicality. Shows good patience and elusiveness behind and around the line of scrimmage, staying light on his feet and hitting the hole without hesitation. Once he gets to the second level, defensive coordinators start to cringe. He isn’t a super flashy runner, just puts his foot in the ground and runs. He has good acceleration and stamina as a runner, rarely losing any burst as he lumbers downfield. At contact, Gordon is able to fight off tacklers and then immediately recover and get vertical. Along with his attributes as a runner, Gordon does showcase some solid hands out of the backfield. Gordon is one of the best 2025 RBs in the state, and the last two seasons have certainly proven that.
Davion Hampton – 2023 – WR – Kell
Very well-rounded WR prospect that checks a lot of boxes. Played all over the field in high school, but projects out as a WR. Hampton has really good size at 6’1 190 and is built like an RB with his stout muscular frame. Very natural runner with smooth strides and 4.5 speed, I believe he has the potential to get even faster. Hampton can make plays at all three levels of the field but is exceptionally dangerous with the ball in his hands. Hampton is able to make himself space by quick and efficient short-area explosiveness. Once he has a little room to run, he kicks it into gear and begins a race to the endzone. With his larger frame, he is also able to fight through contact and will his way into the endzone, which allows him to be efficient while taking direct snaps in certain packages. Hampton reminds me of a bigger Kearis Jackson, and I think he has the chance to outplay his ranking at the collegiate level.
Cedric Franklin Cedric Franklin 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Kell | 2024 State GA – 2024 – CB – Kell
Tall and lanky CB at around 6’2 185 that took some major strides as a junior. Entering his senior season, he has emerged as a prospect that you should keep track of. Physically, Franklin checks a lot of major boxes for some college programs. He has great length, is extremely fast, has good footwork, and can make tackles in the open field. In man coverage, he is able to run with anyone and is able to turn on a dime with the receiver. Franklin isn’t the most physical defender, but he has some impressive leaping ability which allows him to go up and over bigger defenders to highpoint the ball. A lot of times with smaller and skinny CBs, you may worry about tackling ability, but not with Franklin. He is an exceptional tackler in space and can close the gap between himself and a playmaker in a hurry. With more development, I think Frankling could turn into a late bloomer in Georgia.
Rashaad Flemings – 2024 – DL – Piedmont Academy
Big and athletic defensive lineman that plays with a mean streak. Has an intriguing skillset at 6’5 245, and has speed and moves that most offensive linemen at that level can’t contain no matter how hard they try. Plays up and down the defensive line, but likely projects as a DE with his speed and enough size to set the edge. Flemings immediately wins off the ball, creating instant penetration, and fights his way through blockers. Flemings is an effort-based player, but he has the size and athleticism to make him an intriguing small-school prospect to keep your eye on.
