Mason Reynolds Mason Reynolds 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Avon | 2024 State IN (QB) 6’2″ 215lbs
Avon
Statistically, the junior out of Avon had a down year, but he should still move up the rankings for the 2024 class. Mason has good size and great toughness in the pocket. He stands tall and will take a hit. Reads defenses with ease and can accurately place the ball anywhere on the field. He probably won’t be known for his running ability, but he moves well in and out of the pocket and can pick up yards when needed. Some of his throwing mechanics could use some tweaking and his footwork can be choppy at times. These critiques won’t stop him from receiving attention from Group of 5 and Power 5 schools before his senior year in 2023.
Logan Shoffner Logan Shoffner 5'7" | 160 lbs | RB Noblesville | 2024 State IN (RB) 5’7″ 150lbs
Noblesville
Logan is the definition of a scatback. He’s a tough player you can plug in at any spot on your offense and he will make something happen. He finished 2022 with 2,055 all-purpose yards and nine total touchdowns. Logan is not the fastest or shiftiest guy but he makes people miss and has enough speed to break off big runs. Expect Logan to have an exciting senior season next year.
Jalen Alexander (RB) 6’0″ 190lbs
Hamilton Southeastern
Jalen had a breakout season this year, putting up 1,533 yards and 15 touchdowns on 205 carries. Decent sized back with solid strength and speed. He is not a flashy player he just runs the ball north and south. Jalen shows good vision and patience with the ball in his hands. He also has the power to run people over and fight for extra yards. His strength matches breakaway speed where not too many guys will catch him. This offseason should be a good one for him recruiting-wise following his breakout year this season.
Donovan Hamilton Donovan Hamilton 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Hamilton Southeastern | 2024 State IN (WR) 6’4″ 190lbs
Hamilton Southeastern
Donovan Hamilton Donovan Hamilton 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Hamilton Southeastern | 2024 State IN is a fun player to watch. He already has all the characteristics of a big-time college wideout and has the frame to put on another 10 pounds. One part of his game that stands out to me is how easily he catches the ball. No matter how tight the coverage is, Donovan will come down with the ball. He has a huge catch radius and rarely lets the ball get into his body. Another part that is exciting to watch is his route running. Smooth in and out of breaks while still being explosive. Donovan will be an even bigger name going into 2023 and should snag more offers.
Corey Smith Corey Smith 6'2" | 160 lbs | WR Brownsburg | 2024 State IN (WR) 6’2″ 175lbs
Brownsburg
Another talented wideout that will receive more attention is Brownsburg’s, Corey Smith Corey Smith 6'2" | 160 lbs | WR Brownsburg | 2024 State IN . Corey is a speedy receiver that creates mismatches at every level of the field. He’s an excellent route runner with great hands and body control. The best part of his game is what he does after the catch. With an average of 20.3 yards per reception and eight games with a reception of at least 30 yards, Corey is a lethal player with green in front of him.
