Matthew Brady, QB, Illinois- Matthew has the size you’re looking for from a QB at 6’4 and around 200lbs. He displayed a long of impressive traits, but I was really surprised with how well he did defensively. He had some nice PBU’s that took a ton of talent. Offensively though, Brady was slinging it to all parts of the field. He went through his progressions with ease, and didn’t panic at all as time ran low. He has a big arm, and he aired it out a couple times with just a flick of the wrist. I really liked what I saw out of Matthew this weekend!
JaMir Bouie, WR, Indiana- JaMir had a couple of the more impressive catches I witnessed this weekend. Bouie is a nightmare to deal with in the red zone, as he uses his frame to box out his defender well in the end zone, and he possesses the athleticism to go up and high point it over his defender. I love his clean routes and nice release. His footwork is a big strength. I’m predicting a big fall this year for JaMir.
Trent Lococo, WR, Indiana- Was Trent the fastest kid on the property this weekend? You’d have a hard time convincing me he wasn’t. His release was abrupt, his routes were clean, and most of all, DB’s just couldn’t keep up. Many times I watched him run a crossing route over the middle, make the catch, and before you knew it he was 10 yards downfield. He’s a YAC monster, and I think anyone looking for a returner and slot guy need to give Trent a call before long. This dude can flat out blaze.
Antonio Harris Antonio Harris 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Castle | 2024 State IN , ATH, Kentucky- It took just a few snaps to realize this kid is special. Harris can flat out run, and on offense and defense he was a force. He has breakaway speed that allowed him to get away from defenders, and he had the hands to reel in some contested and difficult catches. Defensively, he has the makeup speed you love to see, but a lot of times he didn’t even need to use it. He did such a nice job of sticking on his guys hip and staying on top of his receiver that he really didn’t ever need to recover.
David Calmese David Calmese 5'8" | 165 lbs | WR Detroit King | 2025 MI , Slot, Michigan- Yeah this was an easy choice, “Fatbaby” as he is affectionately referred to, is so freaking good. His releases are quick and easy, his catch radius is large, and he is one heck of a home run hitter. He goes to work after the catch, making him nearly impossible to get down. He was a good outlet for his QB when he needed it, and I was super impressed with his hops. If he had a couple more inches on him, he’d hold so many offers right now. Colleges need to hop on the phone with him ASAP, he’s a true game changer!
