It feels like just yesterday the 2026 class was entering High School but now they’re entering their upperclassman years. With that, Sloan is right on track. His physical development over the past 2 years is clear as day. He’s put on muscle in all the right areas, he’s grown a few more inches, and he’s continued to develop on the field. He’s aggressive with the ball in the air and has the speed to get behind the defense. He’s someone I feel will continue to grow and develop once he’s in college as well. It was a good weekend for Sloan because he’s continued to check off boxes as the years go by.

The lefty QB is well on his way to developing into a quality starting QB. He’s got the frame, arm, and football IQ to be successful at the next level. He’s also decently mobile and can hit targets rolling out to his right. Being able to accurately throw cross-body is one of the more underrated qualities a QB can have. Bouwkamp excels in that area and is 1 step ahead. While he didn’t leave as the QB MVP, he was consistent, made good throws, and never put the ball in harms way. He was one of the QBs who protected the ball the most this weekend while giving his guys chances.

If I’m a defensive player who has to tackle Okocha I’m finding unconventional ways to bring him down because I wouldn’t be able to get my hands on him. Easily one of the most explosive and twitchy athletes on a football field when he wants to be. The short-area agility he has along with the ability to stop and start is second to none. If you get the ball in his hands, you can sit back and enjoy the show because it’s fun. Okocha made a ton of defensive players look silly again this weekend trying to touch him to stop the play. I’m a big fan of Okocha and will be until he graduates because that level of explosiveness is rare.

Ware is a very sound athlete who does a bunch of damage after the catch. His vision with the ball in his hands is arguably elite and he finds cutback lanes before they open up. I pulled up his tape out of curiosity, and it’s the same thing I saw on Saturday and Sunday. A good athlete who isn’t the tallest, but is still lengthy and has a great vertical. He’s never out of a play and does a good job keeping himself from getting too high or too low emotionally. I noticed he would celebrate, but nothing too over the top as it was just business and I appreciate those kinds of players.

Green is a name that I would think will take off sooner than later if he continues to play at the level he did this weekend. When you stand at 6’1″ and 190lbs and can move the way he can, it’s only a matter of time until he’s found. He’s explosive and has great ball skills. You can tell he spends a good amount of time in the weight room and is ahead of schedule with his build. He’s confident and has a ton of swagger on the field. He tracks the ball as good as anyone and doesn’t get affected with traffic at the catch point. The Chicago Boys came to play and Green led the way.
