Crabtree is a still developing prospect that has elite size to play quarterback or possibly tight end at the next level and his athleticism allows him to play multiple positions in college. Standing tall in the pocket, he shows good feet for his size and throws a nice ball over the middle while able to put good spin on it and throw into tight windows across his body. He should continue to grow and develop his throwing motion and will only get better as he progresses through his prep career. He enters our rankings as one of the top quarterbacks in the 2025 class across the state and has some good upside.
Shearing showed that he is one of the better offensive lineman across the state, regardless of class. He is violent and physical at the POA and finishes blocks at the first two levels while quick out of his stance and dominates defenders vertically off the ball. In space, he can pull without taking false steps and gets to the second level quickly while showing patient feet and hands in pass protection without over-setting and lunging. As he continues to pack on more weight to his frame over the next two seasons, he should develop into one of the next great offensive lineman from Rocky Mountain.
Highlights
Garcia is a playmaker through the air and on the ground with his feet and showed his explosive playmaking abilities during his Sophomore campaign. He is patient in the pocket but is not afraid to scramble and tuck it while showing nice open field speed and some wiggle to make defenders miss in space and has start/stop abilities. He is a tough runner that can break tackles with good contact balance but can also deliver on the deep ball. He leads his receivers open downfield and has good accuracy underneath as well as on outbreaking routes and when throwing on the run.
McKeown had a very nice second season for Post Falls and although still developing, put up huge numbers during his Sophomore season throwing for 1,200 yards and 9 touchdowns through the air. He is a patient passer that scans the entire field before firing and is not afraid to check down and take what is given. In the pocket, he has good awareness and knows when to step up and deliver while not afraid to take a hit. As he continues to develop a quicker release and work on his mechanics, he shows some nice potential and arm talent for his age.
Highlights
The 2025 prospect is another two-way player that will be a multi year two-way starter for Marsing and had a very nice second season. He is a long and rangy prospect that can go up and snatch the ball while boxing out defenders and using his length downfield. Underneath, he can get open while running good routes and baiting defenders to bite deep and flip their hips before settling and turning upfield quickly. In the open field, he is a smooth runner that can run through arm tackles and has a nice forward lean always gaining tough yards. Steinmeyer is one that has the potential to move up in our next rankings release and has ideal size for the next level.
