His ability to get the offense going is special when Post Falls is going fast, he makes great decisions with the ball and has the ability to get himself out of trouble with his legs. McKeown had a big year for Post Falls as a junior, but the senior is looking to build off of what he did last year. A dual threat player that can hurt you with his legs or his arm but is really able to get the ball out quickly. His quick strike ability allows his top players to get the ball and make plays for him but watch out as he is in complete command of what they do on offense.

McKeown is going to be one of the next top passers in the state of Idaho. He is one heck of an athlete that is not only a threat through the air but on the ground as well. Leading one of the top rushing offenses in the state for Post Falls, McKeown was able to attack defenses with his legs all year. The sophomore signal call has good speed that allows him to excel in the zone and power read game. Short compact release that really allows for the football to get out quickly with not a lot of wasted motion. For only being in the 5’11” height range he stands tall in the pocket with a good feel for where rushers are coming from. Is able to really excel when he makes plays off schedule outside of the pocket. Dangerous in the quick passing game with nice touch on his long balls. As he grows in the position he will get better with his timing and his ability to layer throws all over the field.
