Mathews enters into our rankings as a top receiver in the region and just inside the top 65 overall and should draw plenty of college interest through his final prep season for Post Falls. He is a elite two-way guy that excels on both sides of the ball and is always triggering quickly, tackling in space and has great ball skills and return abilities as well. As a punt/kick returner he shows a strong burst, long speed in the clear and good vision in the open field with cutback abilities. He should fit in nicely at multiple positions in college and have a monster senior season for Post Falls.
