A team filled with youth Belin and co struggled to develop winning ways as the season went on. However you shouldn't write off Belin and Cardinal Hayes just yet. There is a reason that [player_tooltip player_id='434412' first='Rich' last='Belin'] is 4th overall and QB1 rankings and if you watched him play you would think so too. Belin is extremely athletic and as of now may not project as a quarterback at the next level. His escapability is second in the state to only 2023 QB1 [player_tooltip player_id='233599' first='Ajani' last='Sheppard']. Belin is so hard to take down and routinely keeps plays alive. As a quarterback he is a threat on the ground and has shown he can make throws at every level of the field. Belin oozes potential and is exciting to watch but does need some major refinement as a passer to be recruited as a quarterback instead of an athlete.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["390761"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='390761' first='Darien' last='Williams'] has struggled to make a huge difference in the stat book because of upperclassman [player_tooltip player_id='303870' first='Syair' last='Torrence'], [player_tooltip player_id='231557' first='Amarri' last='Pitts'], James Bell, and Jason Brunson. However, when Williams has gotten opportunities he has capitalized. Really solid speed and ability after the catch Williams is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. Most of Williams opportunities have come on short passes and screen plays where he has not been able to showcase any plus route running down the field. With a few of the upperclassman listed above graduating expect Williams to get a ton of opportunities next season. Williams could make a play for being the best playmaker in the class of 2025.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["505381"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='505381' first='Richard' last='Perkins Jr.'] is a solid playmaker on a really good Canarsie squad. That Canarsie squad loses a lot of talent after this season and that will mean a player like Perkins Jr. will be expected to step up. With Senior QB Cam Howell set to graduate Perkins could be the next guy behind center for Canarsie. With the ball in his hands Perkins has shown to be a difference maker and can make plays as an athlete. With limited reps at QB it is hard to project his success throwing the ball but he has shown he can push the ball down the field and makes quick decisions. Perkins already holds some solid offers from Power 5 schools but his recruitment may explode when opportunities with the ball come more often.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["505384"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='505384' first='Jayden' last='Simpson'] is in a similar situaiton to [player_tooltip player_id='390761' first='Darien' last='Williams'] where he is a really solid talent who shows up with limited opportunities just because of the talent in front of him. Holy Trinity's athletes on offense are well documented but many people look passed Simpson because of all the other big names. A really shifty athlete Simpson is really good in the short passing game where he has an opportunity to get yards after the catch. Simpson could do really well with more opportunities and for a Holy Trinity squad that is set to lose two of their top three targets Simpson looks to be the next guy up.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["505385"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Great speed with very long strides [player_tooltip player_id='505385' first='Tyler' last='Washington'] is a long lanky receiver with tons of potential. With his role set to expect next season Washington is a huge down the field threat for Webster Schroeder. His ability to use his length both for speed and catch radius make him a really consistent target down the field. In just 14 receptions this season Washington averaged 17 yards per reception. Washington also has shown in limited opportunities that he can make contested catches over defensive backs. Washington has a limited route tree that is very oriented around screens and stretching the field. As his role expands we want to see a more developed route tree for Washington.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["390763"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='390763' first='Matthew' last='McGregor'] is not a full-time starter for St. Anthonys but he does get a fair amount of reps for the #1 team in New York State. McGregor has great positional versatility and has had reps at tackle and guard throughout the season. McGregor does a really solid job of getting to the second level on run plays and does a good job of coming off double teams to take on other defenders. McGregor could improve his raw strength and be more of a mauler as a young blocker but as only a sophomore McGregor is succeeding against some of the top lineman in the top league in New York. McGregor does a solid job in pass protection and has a strong base. Once he gets his hands on a defender they struggle to get away from McGregor. Lot's of potential for McGregor who is arguably one of the best prospects in the NYCHSFL.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["505529"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"One of the best athletic profiles in the class of 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='505529' first='Connor' last='Igoe'] is a basketball prospect who slowly is making a name for himself on the football field. With 70% completion percentage, 1475 yards, 17TD, 2 INT Igoe was a force for Poly Prep and led them to an undefeated season. Igoe has elite size and his ability to move outside the pocket gives him the skillset to make plays down the field on the move. The only knock on Igoe right now is that he is not playing very quality competition for Poly Prep. That being said, he can only play the teams on the schedule and he routinely has shown he will make plays and lead his team to victory. Strong arm with a strong athletic profile Igoe is a prospect that is worth following and has a place at the next level.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","anchor":"acf-block-63752ae61c47a"} /-->
