The backfield duo of quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='188014' first='Shaker' last='Reisig'] and running back [player_tooltip player_id='219073' first='DJ' last='McKinney'] have gotten a lot of praise this season, but Union's offensive line has been dominant in front of them. Offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='98181' first='Bennett' last='Ringleb'] anchors that spectacular offensive line and has come back from an injury last season with a vengeance this year. Union lost one of the better offensive linemen in Will Thomas to graduation in May. Ringleb has filled that role this season as a dominating tackle. We think that Ringleb has the potential to blow up the way Thomas did around this time last season as a prospect.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["54350"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Bishop McGuinness offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='54350' first='Brandt' last='Haag'] has been on our radar for a few years now. After we first saw him early on in his career, it was pretty apparent that he had the potential to be a dominating offensive lineman. However, similar to Ringleb, injuries have limited what Haag has been able to do over the last two seasons. Haag is a force along the offensive line and the Irish have an incredibly balanced offense this season. Haag anchors that offensive line and opens holes for one of the better running backs in the state in fellow senior [player_tooltip player_id='51871' first='Mike' last='Taffe']. We think that Haag should get plenty of attention after his senior tape makes the rounds.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["287378"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"The first of quite a few offensive linemen on this breakdown that have trained with the offensive line group u0022Trench Mafiau0022 is Lawton MacArthur [player_tooltip player_id='287378' first='Caden' last='Tahbonemah']. And like several other guys on this breakdown, Tahbonemah has definitely gotten better over the last 18 months. He has been outstanding in camp settings and then watching his tape from the last two seasons, it's been impressive to watch. The Highlanders have had a great ground game behind the senior offensive lineman. The senior offensive lineman paved the way for Lawton Mac to make it back to the playoffs by dominating the ground game and they clinched their spot in the postseason.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["57159"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"There's a few small school standouts on this breakdown and the first one is Bethel offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='57159' first='CJ' last='Compton']. The number one thing that jumps off the pages when you watch Compton on tape is his strength. When he locks onto a defender, that defender is moving backwards, or wherever Compton wants him to go. It will be interesting to see exactly where Compton ends up on the offensive line at the next level. But when it comes to Compton as a prospect, he is an offensive lineman that will end up playing somewhere in college. The talent and size is there for him to be a hidden gem for some college when it comes to the 2023 class.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["38779"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"One of the most experienced prospects on this breakdown is Edmond Santa Fe offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='38779' first='Jonathan' last='Ashford']. He started for the Wolves as a freshman and has been an anchor of this Santa Fe offensive line ever since. This offseason, he committed to Air Force after establishing himself as a legitimate D1 prospect. When he first started earlier in his career, we thought that Ashford might be more of a tackle prospect at the next level. But it looks like he's going to be more of an interior lineman. And Santa Fe went through a rough season this year but Ashford was still a big part of the senior class and he's been a big part of their offense's success.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["38811"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"One of our favorite offensive linemen in the state's 2023 class is Cache offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='38811' first='Kenny' last='Wermy']. This kid does not get enough credit for not only his abilities on the field, but the expertise in his technique. Like many prospects on this breakdown, Wermy has definitely benefitted from training with the OL group u0022Trench Mafiau0022 during the offseason. He's also learned from them while at our Prep Redzone camps in the offseason and has routinely been one of the best offensive linemen in the camp. The best football is still ahead of Wermy and he should definitely end up at the next level. He's one of the better tackle prospects in the state.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["157510"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Another small school standout along the offensive line is Anadarko lineman [player_tooltip player_id='157510' first='Kenyon' last='Bigbow']. The Anadarko senior is one of the biggest linemen in the state's 2023 class. He stands almost 6'6 and the length that he plays with is something that you just can't coach. And unlike other linemen his size that are still a little stiff, BigBow can move around and he doesn't play like a 6'6 offensive lineman, if that makes sense. He's very fluid with his movements and his long wingspan really gives him an advantage against smaller but quicker defensive linemen. We think that BigBow is yet another prospect that will be on the rise over the next two months.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_7_player":["370214"],"_player_evaluations_7_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"We're letting you in behind the curtains on this one as we're writing this breakdown on Friday morning following Jenks' win over Bixby. In that game, the Trojans absolutely dominated on the ground and there was nothing fancy going on other than running it down the opponent's throat. Leading the offensive line was Memphis commit [player_tooltip player_id='370214' first='Landon' last='Zaldivar']. The Jenks senior established himself as one of the best prospects at his position throughout the offseason after a breakout junior season. But like many other Jenks standouts, Zaldivar hasn't been healthy this season. But as we saw on Thursday night, he's back to healthy and the offense is rolling.","_player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_8_player":["268324"],"_player_evaluations_8_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_8_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_8_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_8_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_8_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_8_evaluation":"8-man players are prospects too! Pioneer offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='268324' first='Sean' last='Rich'] is an absolute monster at the Class B level. Standing 6'5 and nearly 300 pounds, Rich has a size advantage basically every time he steps onto the field. While it's easy to watch his film and get impressed because of the way he dominates the game, we're more intrigued with what he does in settings where he's playing tougher competition. And Rich has participated in a camp or two in front of us this offseason and during 1 on 1 competitions, Rich performed incredibly well. Rich is yet another hidden gem in the state's 2023 class and will make a big impact.","_player_evaluations_8_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_9_player":["38783"],"_player_evaluations_9_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_9_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_9_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_9_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_9_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_9_evaluation":"We finish off this breakdown with a look at yet another lineman that has been on our radar for a while now. McLoud offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='38783' first='Tryce' last='Lewis'] has been an intriguing prospect to watch over the last few seasons. Based on his size, he's not as big as some of the other offensive linemen on this breakdown. But throw on the tape or watch him in person and you see a player that plays much bigger than the size on the roster. Between watching his tape and then seeing Lewis perform at various camps, Lewis is a ferocious offensive lineman and does a great job at the point of attack. He projects to being a center or a guard at the next level.","_player_evaluations_9_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":10,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"edit","anchor":"acf-block-649a02606803b"} /-->
