I am listing the players who’s stat line stood out, who people recommended but most importantly, ONLY players who either I watched live or was able to watch highlights from their specific game. For the best chance to be featured, send me your weekly film on twitter. My handle is “@DevinRecord”, please don’t have any hard feelings if you weren’t included.
Grady had a phenomenal game against Riverside HS. He’s a top 10 wide receiver in his class for a reason and he showed why during the game. He compiled 10 catches for 165 yards and 1 touchdown on the night. His route running was on point, being able to create just enough space to grab the catch. He locates the ball in the air well, adjusting on the fly to get the catch. Walker is great when it’s a jump ball, being able to rise over the defender often.

I’ve included Peyton in these series of articles before for a previous big game he had. Week 6 against Issaquah he made plays in many different ways. He ran the ball 5 times gaining 112 yards on the ground with 2 touchdowns. He hits the holes extremely well, getting big gains on many of his rushes. He also caught 3 passes for 78 yards and another touchdown.
Malachi is a top 10 player in the ENTIRE 2024 class, being a top 3 wide receiver as well. Durant is able to make plays with his feet almost better than anyone in the state. Against Olympia week 6, he caught a short pass and made his way through the entire defense to go all the way for the score. He also can just flat out out-run the defensive back on a pure long ball pass. He finished the game with 11 catches for 198 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Isaac is another top 10 wide receiver in his respective class. This Kennedy Catholic offense has a ton of fire-power and they can score fairly easily and quickly. Against Kentridge week 6, Syph has 4 catches for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns on the night. He showed off his speed throughout the night. He even contributed on special teams, having a kick-off return for a touchdown.
The future Cougar could be put included in this series of articles every single week, given he plays good enough to weekly. He locates the ball in the air well, being able to adjust quickly to be in the correct place on long passes, displaying this week 6 against Kamiak HS. He runs route great as well, having extremely quick week. He’s going to have a big end of the year for Glacier Peak and a bright future ahead with Washington State.
