Durant could be the best overall athlete from anyone in the entire state. He will take his talents to Oregon St after his senior season, which is well deserved. He is able to be double teamed, which he is almost every game, and can STILL make the catches through traffic. During week 1, he compiled a total of 182 yards and 3 total touchdowns, 2 receiving and 1 kickoff return for a touchdown. HE could be on this list weekly, in reality.

The best wide receiver in the state is Malachi Durant Malachi Durant 6'2" | 160 lbs | ATH Graham-Kapowsin | 2024 State WA , but it’s not just due to high school production- he could get by being very good at this level on his talent alone. He desires to be great and commits to consistently working on his craft, competing with any chance he gets and becoming better by taking more reps over time. His technical skills are very good but still have more room to grow and unlock past the high school level, and his athleticism is the same story- he has a high baseline but his package is not yet peaking, where it could at even higher levels of football. He has great instincts on the field that many athletes lack, and he can be an incredible deep threat with his size and length working together with willpower. He fits the profile of a starting caliber Division 1 wide receiver, and will need to stay consistent to stand out amongst one of the most loaded positions in the sport- but if he can keep his confident attitude and drive to constantly be better, he can be an NFL Draft pick someday.
